We specialize in in all aspects of window treatments. We do repairs, Installations, and Sales on all window treatments. We carry blinds by Hunter Douglas, Horizons, Lafayette, Kensington, and Chicago Blinds. Products carried include Verticals, Wood blinds, Shades,

Roman shades, Shutters, Drapery and Valances.

History

Established in 1995.

Business started as an installation business for window blinds and shades. In 2001 we expanded into selling blinds and shades from my home. I took courses at Lafayette Venetian blind on decorating, fabric and shutter installation. In 2005 opened store front in Dyer, IN with a flooring company. Our Store was named Abode Flooring & Blinds, and we stayed open until 2010 when we left the store and returned to doing business out of my home. This move gave me the opportunity to give my clients better pricing for the blinds and to stay in business. We will continue doing business giving our clients the knowledge and information to purchase the correct blind or shade for their needs at an affordable price.

I am experienced in window treatments. I know my product and I can repair most blinds and shades. I respect my clients property and will do whatever I can to help in their projects. I require a deposit on all sales and when the job is complete and to the clients satisfaction do I get the balance due. This is not done by a majority of company’s.
