This is a lovely place! My family has done a lot of business at this boutique! From prom dresses to my wedding dress! I got my dress for a fraction of what it cost at the pricier places. The owner is so kind and helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding. I am also planning to order my bridesmaid dresses from here as well! The costs are very reasonable and she can work with any budget. The seamstress is not an employee of the boutique but there is one that they regularly work with. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she is very kind and flexible. She usually does all of her appointments with the shop on Mondays but went out of her way to come in on a Friday because I was coming from out of town. Please don’t let one negative review keep you from trying this place out!

I only chose one star because a fraction of a star wasn’t available. The owner is deceptive, and she does not have one single«ELEGANTEXPRESSION about her! She is rude, and lacks professional ethics. The first moment that I entered the boutique, I was greeted with deception. This is the type of establishment that you must force to slow down and give clarity because the owner is a fast talker, who spills of misleading rhetoric. In addition to whatever the advertised price is, be prepared to pay rediculous alteration and/or shipping fees; as if the dresses aren’t already expensive enough. Her best clients are her first time clients, who haven’t yet seen her fangs. She does not render or facilitate any level of excellence. Most of the dresses are gorgeous, but she’s is going to nickel and dime clients for so much more than the sticker price. Nothing is sold to fit. This is why I believe the owner is in cahoots with the seamstress, who’s alterations costs me nearly half of the price of the dress. Because all sales are final/with no exchange, your only choice is to get the ridiculously costly alterations. I purchased my attire with the promise that I needed minor alterations to let the seam out just a bit. I was sold based on the merchant’s promise that this was possible. Only upon returning to meet with the seemstress, did I learn that the designer left no room for alteration in the seams. Therefore I had to purchase a larger/longer skirt, have it taken in, cut off, and hemmed. In doing so, I had to pay the difference in the price of the skirt, even though all of this only happened because she lied to me about the alteration possibilities of my original purchase. Of course this level of alterations was very costly. Perhaps they work together to bait clients, and force rediculous alteration fees upon their unsuspecting victims. I’m sure that the boutique gets a percentage of alteration sales. If she was a fair and honest merchant, she would stand behind refunds and or exchanges, with discretion to each situation, especially those caused by her. My other vice is that I was charged shipping & handling for an «in-store stocked» item that coincidentally was sold out of my size. So basically her explanation to me was that every merchant passes on the shipping cost to customers when they have to order something that has been sold out in the store. No ma’am, that’s not true! If a sore is our of a particular size, they order it, and then the client makes the purchase. If I wanted to pay S&H, I would have gone online and ordered it myself, not make an in store purchase; especially when this had not been previously discussed, rather written on a tiny printed sheet with about 8 places to sign and/or initial. Which by the way, was signed while the owner ranted about her personal family woes, and constantly reminded me that she was ready to close and go. I now believe this to be a distraction to the time it takes to read the fine print. Looking back, I noticed that on this sheet she wrote the S&H part in «illegible» chicken scratch. She knew exactly what she was doing. She even lied to my face and said that we discussed S&H fees. A BLATANTLIE. If I don’t remember anything else, I ALWAYS remember when I have to spend money!
