Lunch special was cheap, had the burrito and enchilada with rice. But something was amiss when the waitress did not ask me if I wanted chicken or beef, come to find out it was mystery meat. Would have hit a Taco Bell if I wanted that… disappointed…

I just can’t like this place. Every time my husband and I have gone in the restaurant, the atmosphere is just kind of blah. The place feels dingy. The staff is very nice, that’s undeniable; however, the food isn’t good enough to make us want to come back. Everything tastes bland, and that’s pretty crazy for Mexican food. They are one of the few open on Sundays here in town, so my husband and I ordered food to-go. We just wanted to share a full order of fajita nachos. My husband didn’t bother to check the food while he was picking it up, so we discovered when we got home that the order was a half order at best. He was not excited about having to share. I know the to-go plates are only so big, but we paid $ 10 for what should have been $ 6. I also asked for a side of chips & salsa, they gave us a giant bag of chips and one tiny container of salsa. Who needs two pounds of chips with ¼ cup of salsa? It’s a total waste. I’m usually all about supporting the small businesses in small towns, but from now on, we’ll just go to La Parilla for our Sunday Mexican Fix.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Fast service and the food is great. There is an outdoor sitting area that’s enclosed in the winter and open air in the summer. Great place to come with friends.

Their food isn’t that great, but they are the best Mexican restaurant in Griffin. They have great happy hour specials.

I grew up in AZ and I have had a lot of Mexican food. My dinner was marginal at best. The beans and rice were barely edible. My entrée was over cook and chewy(beef with a fried egg and tomatillo). I would not recommend this place.

I eat here all the time and I enjoy it. Servers always keep my drink filled and the food is consistently good. I heartily recommend the Acapulco Cheese Steak and dining on the patio whenever the weather permits.

I’ve been here twice and hated the food both times. The food has little flavor and just tastes strange. The prices are high for Mexican food too. There are a tone of Mexican restaurants in Griffin that serve good food. The service is nice, but that does not make up for the food.

My favorite mexican restaurant in town! First of all, they have very light, crispy chips which are unbelievably addictive. These are served with 2 different types of salsa — a mild, very cilantro-y salsa, and a spicy blended salsa. Both are good! They have more variety and uniqueness on their menu than your typical local Mexican place. My favorite: Chilis Poblano. Two whole poblano peppers, stuffed with your choice of chicken, beef or cheese(I recommend the chicken) and a light sauce, fried, and topped with some sour cream sauce. YUM! Chilaquiles verdes are also good, sortof a chicken, cheese and salsa verde nachos dish. The enchiladas platter is good for variety. I do not recommend you order any salad except taco salad here, but then again, why would you?(A friend of mine did once, and the salad was gross, but I said, «What did you expect, ordering a salad at a Mexican restaurant?!») Fast service, friendly, and very clean. They do have a bar here, FYI. And you’ll probably see somebody you know.
