I’ve never used a computer repair place before. I had brought my computer to an out-of-town Staples about a year ago, telling their computer repair«expert» that I was having problems charging my computer. He gave me the news I didn’t want to hear — it’s the plug attachment in the computer and it would cost me $ 300 – 400 to fix. I might as well buy another computer for that price, right?! I wouldn’t have brought my laptop to these folks if my roommate wasn’t already bringing hers. I figured, what could it hurt? They charge $ 30 to look, but if you get the repairs done there, they deduct that from the bill. I felt like that was a pretty fair bet, and it actually paid off. Guess what, Staples? It was the power cord! And when all was said and done, the cost to me was seventy bucks. Now I can have access to my Unilocal messages since I don’t have to rely on my work computer. Yippee!!!
