History

Established in 1988.

The U.S. World Class Taekwondo Association has been offering instruction and training in Taekwondo since 1988. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, USA, U.S. World Class Taekwondo Association has produced champions in life as well as in the martial arts.

Headed by President and Founder Chief Grand Master Jay K. Shin, Chief Master Rick W. Shin and Association Chief Masters, Masters, and a staff of expert instructors, the U.S. World Class Taekwondo Association offers a number of programs for physical fitness and instruction in Taekwondo. U.S. World Class Taekwondo Association has trained over 150,000 students past 25 years worldwide!

Meet the Manager

Master Sam L.

Manager

Master Samuel Lider has fought, taught and trained in martial arts for over 20 years. After teaching in Wisconsin and New Zealand Master, Lider now calls Oregon home. With training in Judo, Hapkido, Hosinsul, Jiu Jitsu, Tangsoodo and Taekwondo Mr. Lider has a diverse background and a passion for teaching.

Master Lider is a 4th Degree Black Belt and is the Chief Operating Officer of the Oregon USA Taekwondo Team.

Master Lider truly believes that Taekwondo can be a life-​changing experience, «I know I wouldn’t be where I am at today without Taekwondo in my life. Taekwondo gave me the determination, focus and dedication that I needed to be successful in my life. My goal in teaching Taekwondo is to offer everyone the positive experience I had».

In his free time, Master Lider enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, training, traveling and snowboarding.
