Ulta

Went in for a bang trim, left with a lopsided botched ruined bangs. I had to rush out and find a talented stylist immediately to fix it. I could have done a better job myself. Worst ever

It is always hit and miss when I go to this store. They are usually out of my the product I need. I started going to the Ulta off Nyberg. Such a difference in service and stocked shelves.

Daughter went in for the release if Two Face Peach palette. The store released it 2 days early and the employees purchased the product. When my daughter went in (platinum member) the employee bragged that she had purchased two. I wouldn’t buy a tourniquet from this place if I were bleeding out.

It’s really Sad to me that not only is this the only Ulta close to me, I spend on average about 300+$ a month in this store. Only to be treated horribly by one staff member in particular, (older lady with short gray hair and glasses) On more then one occasion she personally has followed me around the store and accused me of shoplifting. When mind you I WASN’T EVEN HOLDING A PURSE OR BAG OF ANY KIND AND HAD NO JACKET OR POCKETS. The eye pencils I use are on the bottom shelf of the second Ile on the left hand side of the store. When I go in I always go to the right and grab my Tart Makeup which is no less the 28 $ each for every item I buy, then I always walk over to the left and get my eye brow pencils (medium brown) back to the point. I set my Tart makeup on top of the shelf and kneeled down to look at the pencils. Then she comes over asking where was the makeup I just picked up across the store? Excuse me lady? OPEN YOUR DAM EYES AND CHECK YOUR CAMERAS AND DON’T BOTHER PEOPLE WHO SPEND MORE MONEY THEN YOU MAKE IN A MONTH. I hate to use that kinda talk, but I’ve held this in for months. Not only do I buy my makeup there, I go to the salon and I buy my hair products there as well. It’s NOT OKAY to be treated this way. I was never going to speak out until recently when I visit the store and that women is there all the sudden the mall security comes in and follows me around. Really? Get a life, I’ve never stolen a thing in my life. I work 3 jobs and I’m a single mom. I shop there because I get ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM EVERYONE EXCEPT THIS ONE WOMEN. It needs to stop. I have told everyone I know and have considered calling FOX 12. Please pass it on. Absolutely everyone is amazing there except this women.

If I could give negative stars to this Ulta I would. This location is so disgusting and dirty. Every time I shop in the drug store section I have to triple check that my products haven’t been used, and even in the more expensive section too. I’ve been told by a worker that they just put stuff back on the shelves after it’s been returned or used if it looks ok and I think that’s disgusting. I’m not paying $ 50 for a foundation that’s been used.
The people working here are not that great either. Every time I come here the manager with the curled brown hair is so unbelievably rude, not only to me but I’ve heard her be rude to the poor girls working at the counter. This woman speaks like she is in high school and rolls her eyes if you have any kind of question for her like you are a waste of time and beneath her. I will never shop at this location again.

Came home with a little bag of goodies. Got a good deal on the real techniques brushes «buy one get one free» plus I was able to use 3.50 off coupon. Love to shop when there are deals. They have the liter sale of shampoo still going on which I snatched up the Biolage shampoo and conditioner the last time I was in last month.

One star for the horrible service. They had samples of nail polish out. So I assumed it was ok to try it. Staff came over and was very rude about it and just grabbed the polish out of my hands. .-. NOPE.

Great selection in products. Went with my gf to purchase some facial products, minutes later security showed up to literally watch us shop. Won’t be shopping here anytime soon.

I was in the beauty business as an Esthetician and Makeup Artist for over 13 years and customer service is pretty damn important. Helping people choose the correct product they need is as well. I’m lucky I know my way around a beauty supply store because I recieved zero help finding what I needed. Their «3.50 off $ 10 or more» coupon they send you doesn’t work on quality items either. Lame. Especially since my inbOx is constantly flooded with the promo…

I’ve had a love/​hate relationship with Ulta ever since they’ve come into Oregon, but lately it’s more love. In the past I’ve had experiences with really bad customer service (either employees have ignored me, or straight up rude). The pros outweigh the cons most definitely. They offer drugstore and department store hair and makeup products, which is nice because you can go back and forth to get everything you could possibly need or be looking for. The store is always really clean, which is always a plus. My biggest complaint is their upkeep on the testers of products. The employees need to constantly go through and ditch destroyed testers and replenish, and clean up those areas where customers have just demolished products for everyone else. As for the customer service, it comes and goes. There was a very helpful blonde older gal that has consistently been very nice and helpful to my friend and I. I didn’t catch her name, but she’s extremely nice! Biggest pro: they sell the brand NYX, and pretty much all of their products in their line! Yay!

If you have an extra 20 minutes to wait in line, this place is excellent. The selection is fabulous, but the customer service leaves much to be desired.

Did not enjoy my experience here. I can’t remember the lady’s name who cut my hair but I remember that she had a short bob hair cut. Unfortunately she seemed to focus more on how she wanted to cut my har rather than how I wanted and cut my hair much shorter in the back and left the front pieces long. I have never had my hair cut like this and I really feel like she should have asked me if that’s what I wanted before hand.

Seriously Claudia in the Ulta Salon is so sweet and does amazing hair she listened to what I wanted and gave it to me !:) I already booked a second appointment with her !! I highly recommend her !!!

I’m absolutely picky about who does my hair. I don’t let anyone touch it since it fell out after having my son nearly three years ago. My hair was beautiful, very long and strong, then I had my son and it fell out in giant patches. I had to chop it all off and was devastated. Since then I have only trimmed it once and trusted one person only to do my hair– my hairstylist who has also been my best friend for 15 years. She decided to change careers and I was sent looking for a new stylist. Then I found Carmen. I added her on Facebook and saw pictures she posted of her client’s hair. Beautiful work. So I took the immediate plunge and decided I needed my hair done by her. Carmen’s work is GORGEOUS. my hair is absolutely amazing! I showed her pictures of the type of brown I wanted and then decided I wanted her to take the reins and pick which color. She chose something I wouldn’t have picked for myself and it looks amazing with my skin tone. LOVE Carmen!

ULTA as a company is wonderful! I love this store and what they have to offer. I recently moved to this area and WOW the staff here are all so rude and so stuck up I would never come here again.
ULTA– please fire the Asian girl with green in her hair that works here. I have honestly never met someone so rude who works in customer service. Not to mention, do any of the staff even smile? The staff that sells the high end products are okay. It’s the girls who stock the drug store products that get me.
The drive to Lloyd center is worth it. The people who work here are awful. Save yourself the trip.

I definitely love Ulta, a lot more professional, they just ran out of the too faced naked dolly lipstick I was sad, but all there employees are very helpful and I feel like I get my money’s worth

The entire staff is friendly & helpful. You don’t even have to ask, they come to you & assist you with any questions you may have. Also very knowledgable about their products when I come in. It’s nice to be able to ask someone how a product works & they can tell you first hand. Love the ladies who work at this location!

So I normally love ulta. And now they have some guy Robert working there. That doesn’t know anything about any off their products and salon specials. Like wtf are you answering the phone if you can’t answer a single question. I will now be switching too sephora for all my makeup.

I love Ulta! The Gresham store has awesome staff and the products I go in for are usually in stock. Sarah has given me many recommendations over the years, and she has never steered me wrong. I’ve had Karen give me a makeover, and I looked amazing when she was done! They recently changed their rewards program… the jury is still out on if it is better or not. Oh well, not like I won’t continue to shop here either way!

Ulta had their $ 10 facial for first time clients. walk in or appt. I walked in and had brought my baby girl with me to get a quickie facial since the rep told me it takes only 20mins.
I can not express the great customer service that Jessica gave me with the facial. ½ way thru my facial my baby started crying so she offered to have one of her co workers watch her for me. The facial lasted longer then 20 mins and Jessica was very good with her techniques It was more of a 45 min facial for $ 10 which is very cheap considering they were using dermalogical products. I am going back this Sunday for another one from her since my baby didn’t stop crying and we were 75% finished.
