Established in 2015.

NW Lash and Wax was established in 2015 by Licensed Esthetician and business owner Glenda McClelland. Glenda started the company out of her passion to help women feel beautiful. Glenda has studied Esthetics as well as completed an intership on Lash Extensions. Glenda continues ongoing education throughout the year to be able to offer the best services to her clients.

As a self proclaimed beauty addict, Licensed Esthetician Glenda McClelland had a passion for the industry well before she made the leap to a full time career change in 2014.

Glenda underwent her educational training in Esthetics at the

Portland Beauty School, followed by an internship at

Flutter and Wink Beauty Boutique in Vancouver, Washington.

As an intern, Glenda trained under the owner Lindsay Terrill for lash extensions, waxing and lash and brow tinting. Eager to set out on her own helping women feel beautiful, Glenda has combined her education, training and experience to create

Most beautiful lashes!
Ive been going to Glenda now for about 5 months or so and will still be continuing she’s very open with appointments and get you in quick you can tell she really cares about her customers and acknowledges what they’re looking for and gives it to you no matter what style of lashes you go with there’ll be no disappointment I’ve now tried both the silk and the faux mink and she makes them look great I’ve never had any problem with my lashes ever if you’re looking for a highly professional company Northwest lash and wax is where you should go!!!

Glenda is the absolute BEST! I have the faux mink lashes and I love how soft and full they are. They are low maintenance and last easily 3 weeks in between fills. What’s better than the lashes is Glenda’s bed side manner, so to speak. She is patient, knowledgeable, and strives to ensure her clients understand how to properly care for their lashes. She has the clients lay on a super cozy bed and encourages us to relax while she does her magic. I would give more than 5 stars if I was able to.

It has been over a month now since I got my first full set from Glenda. I was at home visiting for Thanksgiving break and saw that she had a Groupon special, so I made an appointment with her.
Before the appointment she was very easy to communicate with via text about questions and how to be ready. When I got there she sat me down and showed me pictures and asked me lifestyle questions to determine what lashes would look best for me. Then I laid down and she looked at them up close and told me what she was going to do.
FAVORITE PART:
Glenda explained everything that she was doing! I’ve heard so many horror stories about people getting bad lash jobs that I was kind of hesitant going into this, but she did a phenomenal job putting my worries at ease. As it should be, the entire process was painless and relaxing.
I like more of a dramatic look but because I wear glasses it wasn’t entirely possible because the eyelashes would bump against my glasses. So Glenda just added 8 longer ones on each eyelash, and told me if they bothered me too much that I could come back in two days and she would take them off!
By now I’ve already had a fill at a place back near me in the Midwest, and I’m so happy Glenda did my first full set!

Lashes: AMAZING! Instant glam! Seriously in love with them. The quality is 10⁄10. They are full, long and super light. I’m a ‘natural’ beauty with no daily make-​up other than tinted moisturizer and gloss. These lashes work perfectly for my minimalist routine and take my good looks to a whole new level. People cannot help but compliment me on them, seriously daily. Many requests for referrals.
Customer Service: I’ve had extensions in the past from two different lash artists and had them on for over a year. I moved and had to have them taken off because I didn’t want to risk my face with just anyone. Took a chance with Glenda based on Unilocal recs and I couldn’t be more pleased! She is accommodating, pleasant and very professional.
Value: $ 200 for the faux mink which I love and is right on point for Portland. With the quality you get both in lash results and professionalism this is a great deal. Investment in my happiness!
