I’ve used Mike Morgan a number of times over the last 15 years. He put in an AC unit when we first moved in, and then when we remodeled the basement years later, he moved and reinstalled the furnace.
He’s very reasonable in price, but just as important, he’s a totally honest guy.
Three years ago when he moved the furnace (then 12 years old), he jury-​rigged a part that wasn’t working right just to give us a few more years on the unit. He could easily have just said we needed a new one.
That’s what I mean about an honest guy. You’ll never have to worry if you’re paying too much or buying something you don’t need.

Mike Morgan was recommended by a general contractor in the area, so I contracted with him remove the old oil furnace and install a new electric one in our mountain cabin. I was a bit concerned because it’s a long drive for me and I’ve had to wait and wait for contractors who are late or don’t show up at all. But I needn’t have worried, Mike showed up very close to on-​time for the bid and for the job, had all the materials, got the electrician up and finished it the same day for the price quoted. I only got the one quote but the price seemed quite reasonable based on other furnaces I’ve had put in elsewhere. I’d definitely recommend Morgan Heating to others.
