History

Established in 2011.

In the winter of 2011 Headlight Lens Restoration went into business doing mobile headlight restorations around the Portland Metro Area! After over a year of perfecting our lens restoration our customers started inquiring about better ways to see at night. After months of research the HLR team decided to progress to the HID and LED market to offer more options for safe night driving.

Headlights NW was then introduced to accommodate not only our customers with lens cleaning needs but also the customers that are looking for more ways to see at night! So we introduced Kelvin Lighting Systems and went to work supplying the best kits on the market!

Today we are still doing what we love. Bringing Clarity Into View for you!

AMAZING! One headlight in my VW stopped working about 6 months ago, turns out it was the ballast which is VERY expensive to replace and the other ballast was likely soon to follow suit. Luke at Headlights NW recommended an HID kit that was cheaper than just one ballast and now my lights are brighter and sharper. Then last week another VW part went out and Luke got me in for an appointment and replaced the part in 20 minutes and everything is good as new. Very friendly and professional team. I highly recommend them!

I read reviews for this place online and decided to take my car in to get a fitted with a new HID light. These people know what they are doing, super friendly staff helped me out to see much better at night with a newly installed HID. Their prices are very reasonable which is another major plus! If you are looking for any work done on your car regarding lights and stereo installation this business is a must!

My hid lights were slowly failing so I called in to pick up an HID kit but they said they were out of stock. Then, Apparently, one of their scheduled appointments flaked out on them, and so the kit they were going to install was now available. Last one left. (they had been selling like crazy for the past few weeks). I purchased the last kit, and then the owner came and helped me swap it out for my POS DDM TUNING HID KIT.
My headlights are brighter now, and the light is sharper. The ballasts we’re mounted into the top upper frame of the engine compartment so they don’t obstruct anything.
I’m going back there for my HID fogs,

Great shop, great people, great products, great service! Job well done, the new lights look great and work even better! My 2¢… I did a bit of homework before choosing this shop to upgrade my lights, there is an ocean of junk and bad installs just waiting for an unsuspecting world looking to get HID’s. The team at Headlights NW just completed an all HID upgrade on my new 2015 Dodge Ram; the experience was awesome and the results are great.
I had previous HID work done on two other vehicles at «the other shop». I was disappointed in the customer service and the quality of the installation. This was not an issue here — what a difference. Luke and his shop were totally focused on delivering great customer service. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about their products and services. The crew looked like they love what they do and took pride in delivering a perfect product.
My truck was a really difficult retrofit — the computer gave them lots of challenges as it tried to reject the installation by issuing warnings etc… It didn’t stop these guys for a minute. They knew the proper procedures and techniques to make the lights function properly. My family’s safety depends on their installation expertise; they have earned our trust.
The cost of the installation was very comparable to other advertised services and was a good value. The fact that the shop stands behind their work, no questions asked, is priceless.
The HID lights are very bright and improve driving safety in our NW weather. I highly recommend the 3000 kelvin fog lights — I was on the fence about the yellow color, but they were right — it really cuts through the fog and rain with minimal glare.

I had Luke and his team install new HID’s in my Chrysler 300 C, and they did a great job. The pricing is very competitive, and the service is better than any dealership. I went back a month or so later to get a quote on fog light HID’s, and decided to get them installed. Due to the aftermarket work on my car, it turned into a job that went twice as long, and required the work of Luke and one of his team. Luke honored the quote and the lights have worked flawlessly. I’m very impressed by Luke and his team, they say what they will do and do it, no excuses or trying to up-​sell you. Good Honest deal and work. I highly recommend Headlights NW, you can trust them. Today a guy in
truck slowed down just so he could step on the gas and smoke me out on my bike. Classy. I wouldn’t do business with someone who has such low moral character. Surprising he would do that with his company logo plastered across his truck. Not bright.

Luke went about and beyond on fixing my 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse head and taillights. Took the care in to get HID put into my car but it turned out that whoever previously owned the vehicle frayed the wiring and was wrought with corrosion. Luke went through my car and fixed all wiring on the car for lighting. He treated me as a friend and provided Amazing customer service. I would recommend him to everyone as he does a superb job.

Restore my 2002 Toyota headlights here, readjust my headlight beam and clean up the HID kit installation (self-​installation). I also asked him if he could look up the wiring of one of my headlight, he found the problem and fix it right there and then. I am very satisfied with his service and customer service. Great service overall and will definitely come back for any headlight related services. Luke, the owner is very professional.

Great service. Fit me in to the schedule and even stayed late to finish my truck so I could get it back for the weekend. I had some spyder projector lights from Costco that were supposedly bright but installing the HID light kits from these guys make a world of difference. So glad I did it. Worth every penny.

Luke of Headlights NW is the man to see for ANY headlight upgrading you may want to do on your vehicle. The unnamed HID kit I ordered ended up not coming with everything that was needed and at most any other shop, I would have been out of luck until I could order and receive the missing parts. Luke, without hesitation, explained the situation while reassuring me he could still fabricate the pieces needed to make it work. This man understands customer service. He explained a bit of the Headlights NW story when we met and it made me feel good about going to him to help me wrap up my HID/​projector conversion. He started off mobile servicing dealerships, businesses, and individuals. When his demand rose, he decided to dedicate himself fully to the craft and convert his garage to a workshop. Today, he has a legitimate workshop and is the only dedicated headlight retrofit and upgrade shop (worth mentioning) in the PDX area. I couldn’t be more stoked to have come to these guys for my headlight needs. I got about 30% of the way through the retrofit before I realized the skill level needed to do the job properly was beyond my experience. I will certainly be a repeat customer for any future lighting related job on my car. Thanks Luke!

I shopped around for awhile in order to get the best bang for my buck for getting HIDs installed in my car. Luke was awesome and responded promptly to my calls and texts. There was a delay in getting some parts but that being around the holiday season it was understandable. The quality of the lights have been awesome thus far and in fact I waited a month to write this review to make sure that this would be a fair review. The installation was clean and the wiring was done well for both my lo beams and my fog lights. Price was fair and I would definitely come back again to get my HIDs installed!
