I believe everyone is entitled to having a «day off». I try to give businesses a couple of cracks at it before judging. I’ve given Gresham Toyota 3 tries and they’ve swung and missed terribly at each opportunity from the sales/​purchase of a new vehicle, scheduled maintenance and repair work. I’m going to try to be as brief as possible because each step there were multiple issues with their customer service that I’m not going to mention. Purchase was a nightmare ending with them keeping us waiting to sign the papers for the car when we had set up the appointment, hard sell on accessories and multiple times telling them «no thanks» re extended warranty including having to explain why. Total process= 2hours. First scheduled maintenance: check in is so inefficient and takes too much time, then they could not find my keys or work order which took an additional one hour and being asked several times if I had taken my car to another dealer to which I replied, «no, I can see it right outside the window», third time despite letting them know what needed to be replaced, I bring the vehicle in to be told that I would have to come back because they had to order the part (I live an hour away) and they would call me when it arrived. They never called despite this being a month ago. Still waiting for that phone call. At that service appointment, ran into my original sales person to whom I explained I’m never coming back. He told me this was important and he would get his manager to talk to me. This never happened. I had the work done locally for less than 50% of the quoted rate with prompt and pleasant service people.
I’ve owned many cars over many years. By far the worst service experience ever, I’d rather pay 20% extra then to return to Gresham Toyota.

Have been here twice, have had a wonderful experience both times. Very friendly people– Desi and Asia are both FABULOUS people to work with! Ask for them! No high pressure guilt ridden sales experiences here– they really want to work with you and make sure you leave happy. Recommending Desi and Asia to all my friends and family!

I actually had a great experience at Gresham Toyota. I contacted them via Internet and did the entire deal on email with an additional phone conversation. Showed up and they showed me three new Camry cars and I test drove the one we liked. Salesman was professional and decent. One of my best car experiences.

BUYER BE WARE! Purchased a brand new 2016 Camry from these guys and everything was great until my NEW car had an issue, then the sales guy would not return my calls and when I showed up to the dealer I had to wait over an hour just to talk to a manager. The sales manager, Bill James, took my name and number, then assured me he would get back to me. It has been 3 days and I still haven’t heard from them, even after leaving several messages. Be very careful purchasing anything from these guys! If you have an issue, they are not interested in being there after the sale. I can’t imagine purchasing a used car from them.

First off, lets all be honest here and say everyone hates getting maintenance on their car. It’s like going to the DMV, but you have to play the game cautiously to make sure you don’t get one pulled over on you. So all that considered, this place wasn’t so bad.
They DID run 30 minutes over the estimated hour I was told for an oil change without any updates along the way, so that’s the only reason I knocked off a star. They also took a solid 10 – 15 minutes before I was greeted at check in for my appointment.
Aside from that, there’s pretty fast wifi, complimentary drinks/​snacks (that you would actually want), and a spread out waiting area with cheesy tv.
I do want to give a shoutout to my service advisor Mallory– she was super friendly and informative, and wasn’t put off by my BRF when I was questioning the recommended brakes for my car. Definitely requesting her the next time I come in

I walked away from this attempted car buying experience feeling like I got slimed. Not only did they try to take advantage of me but they treated me as though I was only semi human. If you run into Asia Troyer, or manager be sure to steer clear of these first class crooks.
I waddled in to this dealership seven months pregnant to check out a 2014 minivan for my growing family. I don’t know if it was because of my pregnancy or because I was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans after coming from my child’s sporting event, but they treated me like I was totally incapable of purchasing a vehicle.
First they lied about my trade in car, telling me it was worth nearly nothing because of a safety recall that was ‘unfixable.’ As though I wouldn’t look in to that and find out that of course my car would be repaired by Toyota for free – that’s what safety recalls are about.
Then when I tried to negotiate a fairer price for the minivan they flat out refused, acted as if there was no way I could afford the vehicle, and didn’t mention any of the incentives or options for people with good credit. Asia told me that 6% financing was probably the best they could do – she didn’t even bother to ask me about my credit or cash down payment – but then suggested that I wouldn’t want to buy a car all cash because I should ‘keep my money working for me.’ Yeah, at 6% interest my money would really be working for me there. Completely insulting.

We were very pleased with Johnny Walker– he was great at explaining, listening and there was no hard sell. We were thrilled to find a dealer incentive on the 2015 Tacoma– you NEVER see that on this very popular vehicle. We got a very good price on my Rav4 trade in and within about three hours of driving onto the lot, were driving home with my new truck. I really appreciated Johnny making the drive back to Vancouver with us so we could get the title and the cargo rack for our trade-in.I am subtracting one star due to an oversight by the financing person. A pretty big whoops, which is being taken care of this week. The person was new and hope he gets things figured out asap.

This is the worst place for service. I scheduled a 20,000 mile service on my Rav4, it took 2 hours and all I got was an oil change, no tire rotation or whatever else is scheduled. After 1 ½ hrs, I asked them what the status was on my service and their comment was «If I call them to find out, it will take time away from them working on it». They did call and I was told they were ‘waiting” to find out if I would okay a couple of filters. They said I needed a cabin air filter and an engine air filter-​after only 20,000 miles? I never saw the filters, but I okayed them because I needed to leave. They attempted to wash the windshield, but it was so streaked, I couldn’t hardly see out of it. I wrote the General Manager and Service Manager about my experience and never heard back. Their service department people are very rude. I will never go back!

I recently bought a new car from Gresham Toyota and worked with Shig Kobayashi. He is the sweetest, honest, and pressure-​free man. I would recommend him to anyone even just looking what is on the lot. Their manager was super kind and wonderful. He stayed up late into the night to ensure I get the best deal/​package before signing all my forms. Also, they currently have a WOW! deal which is 0% APR financing for qualified cars/​accounts.
Would buy again.

I bought a new Scion xb last November from Gresham Toyota. I used their internal car broker and he was great at doing what I wanted, but the aggressive sell on the extended warranty soured his good work.
I’ve been going for the regularly scheduled maintenance appointments and yesterday, I let them know that at not quite 6000 miles, I can now feel the engine is running a bit roughly, I can feel the car shaking some when idling, and when I drive, I feel some a slight miss or quick interruption in the fuel flow. I’m not highly mechanical, but I have really good instincts and I listen carefully. I’ve always been accurate in noting issues before they get bigger.
The chap w/​whom I worked yesterday listened and I could feel the minute he shined me on and I became just another complaining female. He said they couldn’t replicate the issue when the tested it, and on the way back from the dealership, I counted seven times when I felt the slip/​miss.

If there was a «no stars» option, I would use it. I’ve taken my 2013 Tundra in two times for the «free car care» maintenance (purchased vehicle new at Broadway Toyota). First time they brought truck out and when I went to get into truck I found a huge scrape up the driver side door (no, they didn’t say a word). and they had to go in and match the scrape and blue paint from their lift exactly. That took me three days waiting to get the vehicle back from body/​paint. Swore I’d never go back but circumstances prevailed that had me in again for same service. It was the same service adjuster and he remembered me. They took vehicle and after 1.5 hours said they couldn’t rotate tires (part of scheduled, covered maintenance) because I had installed traction bars. Really, service shop can’t lift one rear axle at a time or by means other than lift??? Anyhow, got home and noticed oil dripping on my driveway. Looked under and found oil flowed all over frame, pan and plate. I took pictures and called Service rep. I sent him pictures of he mess and after no call back, called again. He said yes, he would get to the bottom of it. Long story short, he never returned another call.

This is the worst place to get maintenance done on your vehicle I had an appointment and it still took two hours to basically change my oil!

First experience, and complete let down. It took over 5 hours for ONLY an oil change. I Didn’t need the tires done or anything just a simple oil change. I made an appointment a week in advance and arrived a little early. Made sure when they would be done so I could run errands and then they didn’t even start the services until I returned, an hour after the original pick up time since I hadn’t received a call and they would close soon. They proceeded to make me wait as if it was an inconvenience to be in the same room when they called back to hear they hadn’t even started my car services. They grew insensitive and cocky in handling the paperwork as if to make up for their incompetence as a distraction, as I waited and had food in the car that needed to get home to put away. Maybe they’ll be better when they are remodeled but there is no excuse for ignoring a vehicle when they are supposedly serviced in order and had an appointment time so it’d be on their roster. I wasn’t the only one with problems that day, another man had just had a service and had to immediately come back for something they had messed up. Not trustworthy. Wouldn’t leave my car with them

This place takes forever!!! Ive been waiting almost 2 hours an oil change! For what it takes 15 mins to do elsewhere this place take over 2 hours. Be prepared to waste your whole day here, even when you make an appointment it still takes forever. Inexcusable…

Let me first start out by saying that this review is strictly based on the wonderful experience we had with Desi. If you are in the market for a new car and don’t want to have to deal with the typical car salesman experience, ask for her. We literally were able to get everything arranged via text and only had to go down to sign the purchase agreement and pick up the truck. She found the EXACT one that we wanted (instead of ‘selling’ us on one they had on the lot) AND was able to respectfully work within our budget. I can’t thank her enough for turning what could have been a real nightmare into a Unilocal-​worthy review!

I’ve written this dealership twice over the past year concerning the fact that when I purchased a Certified 2012 Toyota Tacoma pickup with no damn spare tire.

After 191k miles, it was time to retire my old/​reliable 4Runner and upgrade to a newer 4Runner— I couldn’t have picked a better place to bring my business to!
No tricks, friendly, keeping their word and committed to getting the job done where both sides can find a mutual agreement is why this place is great. Cameron was my awesome Salesperson, who was non-​pushy, matter of fact and just plain honest. I have had awful experiences in the past with other car dealerships, not here (Vancouver Ford can get bent!). The whole crew was professional and actually made the experience fun— knowing you’re getting a fair deal lowers the stress level. After a few days to reflect, I truly think their strongest asset (besides fair pricing) was their commitment to customer service beyond the canned lingo you hear at other places.
I will refer, recommend and say that this was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Thanks again Cameron, Russ and David for making the deal happen!

We did pretty good business with gresham toyota I purchased two brand new toyotas for my wife and I, our 15 RAV4 didn’t come with floor mats, so I had to order some on Amazon for 90.00, I figured for 30k they could have included floor mats but I’m not sure this was the dealers fault so I didn’t push it. The service dept stands behind there work, and ultimately I was satisfied, I will continue service with gresham toyota!

My experience here was awesome! I went in and spoke with Ray. He was so nice and helpful! He wasn’t like the regular sales man type pushy and intense. I got an awesome car that I feel like I can trust! I will definitely go back for my next and refer people to this location.
