Gresham Center for the Arts Plaza

Gresham Center for the Arts Plaza is an elegant contribution to the local community. It is to be found right in the heart of the downtown business district and within easy walking distance of Gresham Transit Center. The plaza includes a water fountain, sculptures molded into beautiful rockets, benches, shade, drinking fountains and restrooms. It all feels skillfully composed.
Before having gone here, I went to Selma’s Bakery, just across the street. This plaza was comforting, minus a little bit of the construction noise. I walked right up to the fountain and I didn’t get more wet then would of helped on the hot day. The rockets looked like something that Warner von Braun could have made, and I saw them from the bench. This place was a tad bit photogenic.
