I called in to ask if they carried a product I needed, which they did not carry, but the man on the phone pointed me toward another business that did. He got nothing from that interaction, but I am forever impressed with his dedication to customer service.

«Pretty lousy customer service» I stopped by one afternoon to check their selection, the first time I came in I was only researching their products, second time I went there it was disaster. I was greeted, well kinda greeted. By an old grumbly man fighting with the brakes on a 25 year old huffy, having around 3,000 to spend on a new bike I was completely ignored! I did some research on the shocks that were on the bike that I liked and found they weren’t as good as the «fox» brand I asked the grumbly old man if I could purchase the bike and have the forks changed over. No answer… I walked away and under his breath he mentioned to another employee «why can’t he just be comfortable with what’s already on the bike» that’s when things got weird, I took my money elsewhere.

Great and quick. I read some Unilocal reviews before I came in. Many reviews said that it was terrible customer service but I was pleasantly surprised. When I came in I got greeted, when I told them what I needed they got me everything real quick. While I was waiting for them to find the correct part I needed. Other employees would walk up and ask if I was being helped, and finally when I got everything and was heading out three different employees told me bye and wished me a good day. So yea I loved it and will definitely be coming back.

Come here cause it was close to home. I needed some new bike tires and helmet. No cared what I was doing or that I even walked in. No asked me if I needed anything or help. Horrible customer service. It’s like some people open up a retail store all about customers just to be rude to them. I ended leaving and bought my stuff from another store rather waste some gas money and get some customer service.

I had them work on my bike, they had to put my chain on and align my sprockets they got the chain on but did not align my sprockets but they did mess with my brakes and they made them wores they unscrewd my brake caliber and it wobbled they took off my metal spindle bolt and replaced it with a scratched up plastic one. I had my brother pick up the bike for me I saw the problems and went back to the store and the older man saw me come in with the bike he looked away when I walked up to him he was not looking, like he was trying to avoid me when got his attention he started denying he worked on my bike when it was that same bike my brother just picked up then I told him that my back wheel felt loose and he went straight for the brake calibre he mest with earlier. And I told them to give me back my old parts back but they said they got rid of them. We had one price deal with the new parts and they did not put new parts on but still took full price. So I just think they just mess with the bikes so you will come back to them. I’m never coming back.

Okay so I got back into cycling in the last couple of months and inherited a vintage Motobecane road bike and love it but here’s the thing it needs new «tires» so on our way back, my husband and I from downtown Gresham we stopped by the shop and was told by the older gentlemen that the size we needed was in the front. We stood by the counter for a good fifteen minutes waiting for the man behind it to at least acknowledge that we were even waiting. Well that didn’t happen in fact we roamed around the shop and then came back to the front «desk» again and still nothing. He was helping a woman with a bike that had been injured with a knee brace or leg brace of some sort (just including this to let you know what time it was and that we were actually there). I guess being a Gresham native for the last 42 years of my life I didn’t realize there could be such rude people. Oh well I will not be going back to that shop I will take my business elsewhere.

We had a really great experience buying a bike for my daughter to take to a ‘bike friendly’ college campus. Great advice, good price. Great location to test out a bike on the local side streets. We recommend this place and the two guys we talked to! We will be back!

I called in with a question even I felt was ridiculous, but they made it into no big deal. When I came in, they remembered my call and exactly what I had called about. Quick and easy, in and out. I’m née to the area, but this won’t be my last trip here!!!

Awesome guys, always willing to help me out. Had them do some repairs on my high end race bike, my mountain bike, and bought my son his birthday bmx bike here.
The nice thing, they know their stuff, good prices, and are local. They sometimes don’t come out and greet you, true, but it is usually because yhey are in the back working on bikes for customers.

Great Service is not DEAD! This place is the BEST!

Nice shop, big selection, friendly service. I went in today (Sunday) to buy a new helmet, seat and bag for my bike. Shhhh, don’t tell, but lately I have been riding without a helmet because I CANNOT stand mine – it chokes me and is reallllly uncomfortable. No longer! The guy working (can’t remember his name) took his time to help fit me for a helmet and explain the merits of different seats. All this while juggling several other customers, including those wanting flats repaired. He was kind and unhurried. Great service! Prices seem great! This will be my new shop of choice for all my biking needs!

Ordered the wrong part for my exercise bike so I took it in to let the expert take care of it. He not only fixed it he traded me straight on my incorrect part for the correct part that he installed so all I had to pay was for a little labor. I’ll be there customer from now on.

I bike ride in constant fear for the most part. I get SO nervous when another bike is passing me, and a car? Feggitaboutit. If I feel as much as a breeze from them passing me I start shaking. I actually was on a bike path a while back and folks were WALKING but they were crowding me, so I fell in to the bushes! I am not lying! I need a sign that says «Caution, keep away, may fall over for no apparent reason».
I needed a little work, on my bike. I’ve been in here a few times. The owner is extremely kind and just real down to earth kind of a guy. He’s an older gentleman with a white beard and long greyish hair. I feel comfortable leaving my poor bike with him to fix.
He always has a little bit of advice about your bike when you come and get it and he does not charge very much at all. I’ve actually heard him tell others no charge for fixing a flat and they are ever so grateful. He’s rather busy so you have to be patient however. They are in the back of the store a lot because they are working on the bikes.
Anyway, lucky for me, he’s not that far from my house so walking my bike over there does not take that long.

Been a couple of times, had poor service. The people like to sit behind the counter and feel bothered if they have to come assist you.
The only reason I came is because I was looking for a hard to find part. I had it broken in my hand and they could decipher what it was… and they fix bikes!
I’ll stick with Shiloh Cycle, they’ve always been good to me.

Nice guys. Good place to buy a bike. Reasonable selection, and not too busy so you can get help directly.
I’m a relative newcomer to bike commuting, and they gave me good advice, and a reasonable deal on a bike that fit my budget. With the bike purchase, they included a free tune-​up. When I took the bike in for the tune-​up, they did some minor adjustments but reccomended that I hold off on the full tune-​up until later since the bike really didn’t need it yet. I felt like they were really looking out for me. I’ll be a long-​time patron of this place.

The owner was friendly and helpful. Prices were cheaper than my normal shop. It was nice to see a bike shop that encourages you to park your bike inside.

Took my bike in — the white-​haired guy with the beard was the one
i spoke to — (i can only assume he’s the owner)
after a couple days — my bike was ready — the final price?
the exact amount quoted on the phone.
wow. No sleazy upselling? no pressure to have additonal repairs or scare tactics that i «might need something?»
Car mechanics could learn a thing or two from this place.
will always go to Gresham Bicycle Center for future needs.
