Doug Silton Photography

I recently had Doug Silton shoot our engagement photos, and for not being the photogenic types, we were blown away with how they turned out. My fiancée and I have not really had many professional photo sessions, so we were a little nervous, but Doug eased our nerves and made us feel very comfortable.
His studio/​property are amazing, with a great view of Mt. Hood and rolling hills. He also really listened to what we wanted as a couple in terms of «feel» for our session. He was also very quick on the turnaround with the proofs and final edits, which turned out amazing.
Being in the dance scene, I am also familiar with his videography, and he does an excellent job with that as well. There’s a reason high profile professionals will travel across the country to have him video and photograph them.
I would highly recommend Doug Silton photography if you are in need of professional photo and video services.

Doug Silton’s Photography is some of the best pictures I’ve come across and it was such an honor and pleasure working with him. I’ve known Doug since I was in middle school and can atest to how gracious, talented and awesome he is. Doug Silton productions did a 4 minute YouTube Video for my company OC Breast Wellness. Shot all the scenes in 4 hours and did the final cut and paste all in the same day. We could not be more pleased since we were pressed for time with our web designer and a major conference coming up! I’d recommend him hightly!

I have the pleasure of shooting with Doug Silton about a month ago. Between him and his assistant, questions were answered quickly and we set up a shoot. Doug has a beautiful location, with many options for shooting. He even has a nice set up area for models and we even get our own bathroom.
Doug is very professional and understands our time is just as valuable as his. I felt so comfortable and relaxed and he just shot away, giving just the right amount of direction and letting me do my thing.

Doug is an incredibly talented photographer. He gives great direction to his subjects– he had lots of great ideas for headshot body positioning and poses that looked interesting, attractive, and natural. I was delighted that so many photos turned out so beautifully from just a one hour shoot!

Doug Silton has taken two rounds of headshots for me at different times. He’s amazing to work with. I think hiring a creative person is hard. You have to trust their work, you have to have good communication with them, and the price has to be right.
Oh, yeah. He was fast too! The last headshot photographer I had before Doug, took two weeks to get me the photos. Doug took the photos click click click really quickly and by the time I was home, he had already retouched a few and sent them to me. This might not be typical Doug procedure, but it seems simple for him.
I’ll keep using him because he’s the only one who gets that I’m busy. I just want to capture my image and expend the minimal stress, time and money. I was blown away by the final headshots, too.
