Crossfit Cimmeria

We joined a little more than a month ago and were nervous as you can get. Considering my physical activity prior to this was little more than going upstairs in my house, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot. But the coaches are incredibly supportive, helpful and patient. Which is necessary because I still have trouble with some of the movements, but they always work with me to help me get it right.
The rest of the athletes are awesome as well. The atmosphere is truly supportive and friendly. we finished our month-​long foundations class and continued on, as we’re really happy with the progress we’ve made in such a short time thanks to the help from Ty and the gang.

I was very impressed with how helpful and professional the coaches were, especially as a newcomer with back issues. The environment is very supportive and fun. I would recommend this gym to anyone interested in cross fit.

When I started I took the month long «foundations» class for people new to CrossFit. It was very informative and focused on learning proper technique to prepare you for a regular class.
There are classes held all throughout the day 6 days a week and opportunities for personal training on the weekends.

I love this Gym, Its like my second family. Ty is an absolutely amazing coach. He really cares about each member of his gym, and takes the time to help any time we need him.

To say finding this place has had an effect on my life would be an understatement! I have seen improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall health as well as a new found confidence in and out of the gym:) I love these coaches and my growing sweaty family who encourage me and support my goals.

When I first started at Crossfit Cimmeria I hadn’t the slightest clue what crossfit was, but with the help of amazing coaches I’ve been able to make huge improvements! Ty is amazing! I’ve had a lot of coaches in various sports and I can say without a doubt that he is one of the best around! He will push you to new limits that you never thought possible, and keep you safe doing so. Wendy and Jared are wonderful too! They all have different styles of coaching, which I have found very helpful. One of the best aspects about this place is the fellow athletes. Everyone is at a different level, but we all encourage each other and work though it together. It’s more than a gym is a family, who is always willing to take in a new person! Come down and try it out! You won’t regret it!!!

Being new to crossfit as of this past summer, I decided to try out Crossfit Cimmeria with a groupon they had going at the time. Coach Ty is awesome, he makes the work outs fun and challenging at the same time and pushes you to do better in a capacity that is safe and within the limits that you can achieve. Along with Ty there is also coach Wendy and Jared who are equally awesome! They all take the time to go over technique for all of the weight exercises to make sure you are doing it correctly to prevent injury or strain from doing something the wrong way. This box has a great group of people to come and workout with every day, we are all very supportive and encouraging of each other and know how to have fun while getting our butts kicked with a good workout.
