Worst wedding venue ever! I had my first choice wedding venue fall through, this place was my second choice. It’s a very beautiful location, the inside is beautiful too. It has a great outdoors/​lodge type feel to it. But, the guy who runs everything is horrible. I mean really, really horrible. He has no idea what he is doing. He kept trying to raise the price on me. He never knew the answers to my questions and instead of telling me he would find out and call me back he wanted me to call him back so that he could not answer and still not have answers to my questions when I finally got a hold of him again. He would tell me dates to have decisions made by, I would call a week before the date to tell him my decision and he would say oh the deadline for that was last week so it’s going to be more expensive now but let me see what i can do. He tells me to call him by 10:30 the day of the wedding to confirm that everything is on schedule and things are being setup where I want them. Instead he calls me at 8am while I’m still sleeping and demands that I confirm everything right that minute. I finally had to turn the phone over to my maid of honor because my emotions were running so high. The good news is I didn’t have to deal with him the rest of the wedding because he was no where to be found. He made a brief appearance to yell at my caterer and then was gone again til the end of the wedding. I suggest finding a better venue. Also took months of phone calls, etc to get deposit back.
