Cascade senior said I could not go and see my granddaughter take swim class at 192 !!! I would have to move from 205 to 192 than I could watch my granddaughter. My blood pressure went up ! They call back later and said I could watch her. I talk to a person at 205 and they said he would fix it. The next day they called and said I would have to A.S.H. at 1−877−427−4788to change to 192. I called back and told them and said no! For some reason they want Silver& Fit to show at 192 ! Why would you want to go to 205 and show as being at 192? I They never said sorry to me after telling me I could not watch my granddaughter !! Do not be push by 192 into the move away from 205 ! The more people at 205 the strong we are !!!

I have been coming here since I was 8 years old, moved out of the area after 18 but have been coming back regularly. Now I’m in my 30’s, haven’t been in a couple years.
The change in staff, equipment, and tone of this gym is unbelievable. UNBELIEVABLE.
I went here for so long, thought it was at least ⁴⁄₅ stars.
They had good kids camps, swimming pools were clean and available, classes were unpretentious and difficult, locker rooms were clean, equipment in good working order.
They even hosted community events, including a play I was once a part of. Not to mention the dance studio run my Dagmar, who is still there teaching the kiddos.
Staff were friendly and knew you by name, many of them were students who were interested in helping you meet goals.
Now? I don’t even know where to begin.
No one knew who we were, even though my family has been going to this gym for OVER 20 YEARS. They had no idea about how to get us in, looked at me as if was scamming them, and generally made me feel as if I were a giant pain in their ass.
To make matters way worse, their equipment was straight up broken. As in pieces of it were coming out of the machines, to the point where they were no longer useable.
The locker rooms were filthy. Someone even came in to my shower (while I was showering!!!) to spray nasty smelling cleaning agents.
Basically, it couldn’t have been worse. I don’t have a recommendation for people about «to go or not to go,» so much as total disgust in how low this place has sunk. Just have basic expectations, we’ll see how they do.

been a member on a family plan for over ten years now, my parents as of late haven’t gone to the gym so it was just been me over he last few months and out of nowhere i get a call (mind you ive never been an account holder or signed any type of paperwork) saying I’m being sent to collections for using the gym for the last three months without paying.
Every time i worked and showed them my tag to get in i was never notified of this or anything those lines until it was too late
For being a longtime family/​church/​neighbor friends with the Eisenzimmer’s this is very disrespectful and
Donna at the cascade off division was hands down the worst lady I have ever dealt with, no idea how this old bag is still employed with her tone of voice and snippy attitude i will make sure to let every single person i’ve worked out with and met in this establishment over the course of the last decade know exactly what has happened and to drop membership
Golds Gym here i come

I was too harsh on this place. Still not going back, but they are pretty dang good.
Not many places on the east side like this. Well there aren’t any. Pool, gym, tennis, basketball courts, etc. Huge on raquetball.

It’s ok… Mostly.
The reviews for the Portland side sound great. The Fisher’s Landing in Vancouver facility needs updating all over. The equipment is old and not alot to choose from. On the individual tv monitors for the elipticals, etc. there are only 4 –yes, I said –four– channels to look at. They still use paper towel/​spray pump bottle to clean off equipment– not disposable wipes. Which means people are still cross contaminating on the spray bottle!
While their pool facilites are good, they still use chlorine, not the updated salination systems. The shower stalls are tiny and not much privacy. No place for soaps, shampoos, etc. no towel service.
On the plus side, this is a very kid friendly club, with some great choices available for them. There are excellent basketball and swim team programs here, for kids and teens.
This is also the –cleanest– club for this area (despite having no disposalable wipes). While we were looking for a club, 24 Hour Fitness Tech center had visible black mildew on the walls and ceilings of the swim and locker areas. Same for LaCamas Swim & Sport– smelled incredibly nasty in both places!
To me, this place appears to be run by a management that’s cheap on its clients. When a clean and new club comes along out here, we will move on… Until then, CAC might think about checking out the Gold’s in up Issaquah or Redmond– excellent equipment, cardio theatre, modern pool, roman tiled steam and showers, a women’s only area, clean all over, a lovely lounge, juice bar area, and all at the same price! If it can happen up there, why not here? Get with it CAC.

I’ve been a member here now for a month and I love it! I’ve had memberships at Planet Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, and Golds Gym before and I prefer the atmosphere here more than any other place I’ve been. The gym area is very large and has all of the equipment that a person would ever need. The indoor swimming pool is clean and a nice benefit to have at a gym. The staff has been very friendly and helpful any time I have needed anything. This place might be a little pricier than other gyms, but for everything that you get with a membership it is worth every penny.

Tennis anyone?
If you haven’t already guessed, I’m a tennis player and this place is where I go to hit on those rainy days (which is all the damn time). They have 5 indoor courts that they maintain very nicely and 3 outdoor courts. They also have 2 gyms (so vball and bball players don’t have to fight for court time), multiple racquetball courts, small indoor track, all the exercise equipment you could possibly want, 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), daycare, lounging areas, and really friendly staff. Needless to say, this place is PIMPED out! Only complaints I have is the small parking lot and the locker room – although nice – looks like it’s stuck in the 90s and needs a touch of modern flare.
Has lots of members but never overly crowded like some of those newer gyms. Great facility and has everything you could possibly want in a gym.

I have been going there since Feb of 2012, and it has been a very positive experience for me. They have tons of equipment. Lots of cardio equipment, every weight machine that you can think of, and a good size free weight room. They have tons of classes. My wife and our child have really enjoyed their water park over the summer. I have been a member of 24 Hour Fitness and LA Fitness, and this by far feels like a private club. The price maybe a little higher than the others, but I think you get more for your dollar.

They have everything here and a very flexible work out schedule for different times. There isn’t that «how good do I look» feel to it like some gyms have and I am comfortable in my workout routine. Definitely signed up for the membership and look forward to many days here.

I gave them 5 stars because I think for the money it’s as good as it gets.
I love the salt water pool, heated to 83 degrees, and another adjacent therapy pool that’s even warmer.

I’m just grateful this is in the outer southeast, it seems like all the cool stuff is closer in, not this time!

A lot of choices but sort of expensive, especially considering some of the facilities could use a face lift such as the basketball area. All of the staff are really nice except I once saw one of the young male staff members taunting a heavy set teenager who was exercising. I really like the pool.

I had been a member of CAC for my entire life before moving to California. I still come work out whenever I am back in Portland. The staff is always friendly, the facility is always clean, and there is always enough space to move around. Parking lot is ample, I really can’t find a single thing to complain about.

One of their personal trainers, Jackie, designed a program which was amazing. I regained strength I had not seen in 8 years within 3 weeks of working out. I’ve yet to use the pool or classes, but the members have been great thus far and the equipment is more than sufficient. Great gym!

CAC is a good gym in Portland. They have good hours, and it’s a big facility with a lot of options. I play racquetball there, and am happy with the courts. Staff are friendly. Another plus is the outdoor pool, which is excellent in the summertime for families.
I took off one star because the prices are so-​so. Not outrageous, but definitely higher than the other workout options in Gresham (which admittedly don’t offer the same ammenities). Also, the facility is a little old. It’s kept up pretty well, but it’s not ultra-​modern or amazing. Just kinda homey.

I LOVE working out here! It feels really homey, there is tons of room, and I rarely have to wait for a machine. Big fan of the sauna as well. The only downside is seeing a bunch of people I went to high school with, but thats what you get for sticking around in Gresham.

Now that we have been going to the gum for a few months I thought I should write an update. This place is the best! We joined so that we could play tennis and the courts are clean and always available. The gym is very family friendly and on the few sunny days that we have had this summer we loved spending them at the pool!

This has been the 4^th gym I have joined over my gym life and I love this place. I am a tennis player and there are 5 courts available complete with a mixed doubles league! The Cardio theater is never so full that you can’t jump on something even during crunch time. My personal trainer is fantastic! He isn’t the cookie cutter dude walking around trying to get clients any way he can. He is knowledgeable and laid back as far as no pressure to buy his training package. He knows his stuff and knows when to push you to do one more rep. Dre is great! One of the other trainers here is Ken Coleman from the third season of the show «Biggest Loser».
The locker rooms are very clean and have a clean smell at all times. You get all the bells and whistles here.
There are a bunch of classes for all abilities to choose from throughout the day as well as special classes you can sign up for at additional cost.
The hours of operation is very convenient since they close at 11 pm weeknights and open at 4:30am!!! The staff all seem nice too and where else is there a club where you can work out then drink a beer while watching a big screen tv in their lounge. I will be a member for life!
