I can’t imagine taking my dogs to anyone but Mosako. She only grooms one dog at a time and loves the dogs and their owners! I don’t have to worry about my dog being put in a cage all day and handled by several people, she is the only one that works on my dog and take her time grooming. Mosako has a special love and kindness, not only do my dogs love her but so do I. 5 stars!!!

I took my baby boy keno (toy poodle) into her shop on Dec 1^st, I could not be happier with her professional grooming skill! To be honest keno’s hair wasn’t at his best, there were quiet few mat spots I was having trouble brushing it at home myself. When we picked keno up both my husband and I was so happily surprised about how adorable and sharp he looks, and his hair was so soft and smooth. I also loved the fact that she takes picture of each dog after grooming and you can get on bowwow LLC Facebook page. Also, loved lovely little office where she does her work. Supper fabulous experience, would definitely keep going back:)

Staying with a friend and dog sitting for her pup. He needed grooming badly so I checked Unilocal for nearby and landed here. We were thrilled to find such a great groomer in the neighborhood. She did a wonderful job, was very kind and the results were fantastic.

I LOVE taking my Lola to BowWow Happy. She is very tiny and hates being brushed or groomed, but i feel safe leaving her with Masako. No other dogs are there and its a very stress free environment!

I have been a client of hers for several years. My water hating Chow mix, now will lean in to her during the wash portion of his bath, he is enjoying her working the suds in so much. She is strong, but also very gentle and patient. Her policy to only groom a single dog, or dog family at a time takes the stress level down, as well as all the unnessairy time in cages at other groomers. The groomer I took him to previously, was so afraid during nail trims, she required him to be restrained and muzzled. It was for that reason I went looking for a new groomer and found Bow Wow Happy. She give both my dogs treats, talks baby talk to them, and has worked to learn their command language to more easily communicate with them. For example, to ask them to relieve themselves, we ask them to «get it done». She knows they are usually pretty spoiled, so she continues to talk baby talk when they get nervous and offer treats. My dogs will never love me leaving them to get bathed or nails trimmed, but I think she has come as close as they will ever get to enjoying their «spa» day. I could not recommend anyone I trust to groom my boys more than Bow Wow Happy. Her prices are reasonable too! There are no cages here. There is simply a place to clip their leash, and a bed to rest on, while they wait to get picked up, and to give her time to sweep up between clients.

I was visiting my son who had recently moved to the Portland area. My wife and I had made it a road trip and included our 8 year old golden retriever, Emily. I wanted Emily to look her best for her trip so I took her to Masako for a bath. Well, I like my groomer in So Cal, but the results Masako got were over the top! Now my mission is to find someone in our locality that can come close to Masako. Wish me luck!

I still stand by what I originally said. I just wanted to respond to the owners questions publicly. After looking through my records, I found that I was mistaken about the date that I took my dogs in. They came in on December 28^th. I was off my a few days. As for not having a record of my name: I have digital images of the checks that were deposited into Masako’s account, complete with account number. The check cleared on December 31^st. I also have the images from the check that cleared in October. I am 100% certain I have not mixed up the groomer.

I have a 3 year old Bichon Frise and for those who own Bichons, know that they are high maintenance grooming. I am very meticulous about the cut of my pup, and have been through numerous groomers, ranging from commercial store groomers to small business owners. I occasionally groom my dog and can take about 2 – 3 hours and so I feel very particular about his grooming. Masako pays close attention to details and needs of her customers. Every other groomer besides Masako complains that my dog is squirmy and difficult to groom. But he was no fuss at all with Masako and he was very happy and perky when we got home.

I have been taking my Cocker Spaniel puppy to Bowwow Happy for a several months now. She does a great job, and like that she only does one dog at a time, versus the typical assembly line mentality. As a result, her attention to details is obvious and welcomed. I have recommended Bowwow Happy serval times, and her pricing is fair.

Masako is so great! She does a wonderful job and is very kind and caring. She does both our 10 pound poodle and our 100 pound German shepherd and they are happy to go see her.

We have been going to BowWow Happy for a couple of years now. She has been nothing but great with our dog Nique. We went and shopped around before going to her and originally went to her for the price. But after a couple of years, we will never go to another.
Compared to others, we loved the idea that she only takes one dog at a time and at no time do the dogs get put into a kennel. Nique hates to be groomed and is terrible with having his face touched. Our dog has a skin issue that took a year and several doctors to figure out and Masako had been more than willing to work with our veterinarian to figure out the problem. Masako does an excellent job at a great price. I recommend BowWow Happy to all our friends.
