Came here as an alternative to the same old thing we’d been up to for ages. It’s consistently okay. Good enough. We had a craving for pasta and this was the closest place we could think of. I have a feeling that the bolognese is ground up meatballs, the creamy pesto was very creamy and not so pesto-y, but all were eaten and all left full. The desert tray was not very appealing and looked like it had been left out, the waitress was nice enough. We like that it is basically all booth seating.

Service was good; food was worse than Olive Garden. Scampi was tasteless, super greasy. Bread that you have to pay extra for was terrible. Just go to Olive Garden !

Walked in and there was no one there to greet me or take my order. However, after about 5 min I was greeted by a friendly and helpful waiter who promptly took my order. We tried the chicken Alfredo and didn’t care for it too much. I like my chicken more grilled and crispy and didn’t personally feel there was much flavor overall to the dish. I would not order that again. On the positive side the other dish we tried was the eggplant over spaghetti noodles and that was very good. I’d definitely order it again and I’d be open to trying different items there. So overall I guess my experience was so so.

The food was really good… although their presentations really lack…6 different entrees that all looked alike… dumped in a bowl… nothing interesting or inviting… also what Italian restaurant charges for bread??? When it arrived it was this little devise just big enough to hold 3 little slices of bread cut in half $ 2.50′. someone with imagination and a little artistic flair needs to step up and show that they want their food to look appealing. We decided the owners must have owned a diner before… Bottom line is it is super food but don’t expect eye candy as the bowls get plunked down…

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Boccellis! My husband and I love this place and have been many times. There aren’t many upscale restaurants in Gresham. This one is a little nicer than most you will find in the area. Food is delicious(we had the wild mushroom ravioli last week-so good!). It came with a yummy salad. Excellent desserts and good wine selection with decent pours. We have always had great service. Prices are reasonable, although they now charge for bread, which I find unacceptable — it cost them a star.

Great FRESH food! Everything is made to order! My second time here and absolutely love this place! The wine selection is great and the bruschetta is bomb! Fresh fresh fresh! I can’t say it enough!

We love this place. All the pastas we’ve tried are great, as is their salad with creamy dill dressing.

My husband and I went here last night after 2 of my friends recommended it. First the staff were inattentive and somewhat rude. They acted like we were an inconvenience. The food was bland and to be honest Olive Garden would have been better. Oh and paying $ 2.50 for a bread basket about the size of my coffee cup is ridiculous. We then had to go find our server to get our tab because, even though she had just cleared our table and we declined the dessert menu she thought it was better to go off and hang out with her other servers. All of this adds up to never going here again but a little while after I got home this was all topped off with becoming violently sick. I will never ever go to Boccellis againt.

Finally a restaurant in which you can carry on a conversation. Quiet atmosphere(in spite of an open kitchen) with background music that doesn’t want to compete with the patrons. Warm and comfortable ambiance. Skilled, friendly staff who were there every moment they should have been but not hovering. Lasagna was excellent as was the salmon fettuccine. Deserts were likewise excellent. Coffee, so often a disappointment in restaurants, was rich, dark and fresh. This was a win.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. We both ordered lasagna. $ 14 each, no bread, no salad. I guess that’s okay because I love lasagna. The lasagna was so smothered in cheese you could scarcely tell there were any other ingredients to this dish. Definitely won’t be back!

This is one of our favorite little places to go to in Downtown Gresham. It’s a casual place where you’d feel ok dressed up or in jeans. Nice atmosphere with somewhat dim lighting and candles. The food is good, their grilled bread and dipping sauce is good it’s tempting to just eat that alone. We’ve tried just about everything on their menu over the years and we’ve never left there disappointed. The food is consistently good and so is the service.

Trying to meet up with three different folks, one of them tossed out Boccellis as a go to. Lunch menu, make your own pasta– how fun was that and GOOD. Really good. Great service, clean location. Was good to see what appeared to be locals enjoying lunch at their regular spot. Im rarely if ever in Gresham but if I am Im stopping here. I’ll make myself hungry so I can sto

The food was super fresh and delicious! The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was one of a super fancy expensive restaurant, and yet the prices were very reasonable and affordable.

I ordered the salad with bay shrimp and it was just awful. It was as if they just grabbed a handful of wet pink meal worm looking shrimp and slapped it onto my plate. I didn’t even eat the shrimp because they tasted off. Don’t order that salad!

We finally tried this restaurant after we had driven by it about 1000 times. We love Italian food but wanted to support a local business and not go to a nationwide chain. We went in and they seated us immediately(granted we came in early to beat the dinner rush, it was packed with a long wait when we left). Our waitress was very nice but once we got our food we were pretty much left to our own until we had to ask her to bring us the check, she didn’t check in or refill our water at all while we were eating. I ordered the seafood dish(Fruitti de Mare) as recommended by waitress. It was mediocre at best. It had a lot of seafood and it was a large serving, but it was very over seasoned, I almost couldn’t finish it, but I am not a quitter! It definitely had to have bread to break the strong flavors. My wife ordered the steak which was cooked well but the only seasoning or flavor was the boat load of Montréal Steak Seasoning that they used on the top. I could tell right away because that is the seasoning we use at home. I expected something a little more sophisticated at a «high end» restaurant. The disaster of the evening was the side order of pesto garlic risotto. It came out thick and sticky and dried out. It tasted like someone dumped pesto sauce into a bucket of cooked rice and called it good. I took one bite and didn’t touch the rest of the bowl. It was not edible. The best part of the meal was the sparkling lemonade. There is definitely better food within walking distance from this place. Try out any other place downtown Gresham. They are all better. We won’t be going back, I will find another Italian place.

We came to the restaurant because we had a gift certificate for Christmas. The restaurant itself is a nice venue and location. It has a romantic vibe with the lit candles and darkness. The food itself was really nothing spectacular. We had some steamed clams for an appetizer. I ordered the Fruitti Demare(I am sure that I am spelling that wrong). It was basically a garlicky buttery pasta with some cooked seafood and my boyfriend ordered the chicken parmesan. The portions were large but not incredibly tasty. You get 2 small triangles for bread on your plate and if u want soup or salad it is extra. We ordered a dark chocolate cake and took it home. Quite honestly it was awful. It tasted like cardboard. The whipping cream was disgusting the came with it. The service was good! Our waitress was pleasant and timely. Would we go back? No. Honestly there are other restaurants in that area that are better.
