BarberStarr Barbershop

I put off getting my haircut so many times. It sometimes is months. But I’m picky about who I go to. And finding the right person is a challenge. I love Portland barber shops but hate having to trek across the city to get there. Then I found these guys and Phil. What a great shop and amazing cut. Enough so to set my reminder to go get the trim every three weeks.

Im always nervous to get my hair done by someone new for me. Did my research in my area and decided to check out ths place. Great staff friendly service and they’re definitely experienced. i couldn’t Ask for better barber. Got an excellent haircut from Jojo today, very details, definitely will be back soon…

I’m a creature of habit, and have been burned going to other Barbershops in the past. I was a little nervous going into BarberStarr — just because it was a new place. However, I was referred by 2 separate people, one of them being a stylist from a competing salon! That boosted my confidence to give it a shot.
They did not disappoint. I dare say that it was the best haircut I’ve ever received. Extreme attention to detail, very reasonably priced for the quality of haircut — $ 18. I gave him $ 25 as it was well worth it. They earned a new «regular!»

Hands down best haircut around and at a very affordable price. The shop is super cool with old vintage signs lining the walls and the music is always on point. The owner Phil always cuts my hair exactly how I want. They can cut any type of hair here and fade and tape and line up ruler straight. The shop is friendly and I don’t have to drive to Portland 30 mins away for a straight razor line up and fade. If you want a quality cut in Gresham area this is where you come.

Every time i come in here phil hooks it up, he cuts great hair and every time is very sociable and the shop feels like your at home

So, I’m a young woman who was looking for a change. My hair is curly, THICK, and it /​was/​at my waist; until I walked in to this little shop in downtown Gresham. Phil hooked it up! He was super friendly, made my sister and I feel so very welcome, and he gave me the best pompadour in history. Honestly, I don’t want to go anywhere else. If you want your hair done well (nice and clean, ooh!) and want to relax and chat while it’s getting done, this is the place to go. I’m totally coming back.

I’m from Seattle, so when I came into town for work and had to stay a couple weeks I was looking for a barbershop like crazy. And after evaluating my options decided to stop by here. I was doubtful because going to a foreign barbershop’s always a risk cause they might give you an ugly cut but this place was legit. I got fresh’d out and the barber Phill is the the nicest coolest barber you’ll meet!

It was a beautiful spring evening when I was driving through Gresham, having a few hours until work, and I decided to stop by this barber shop after many recommendations from many different people. Upon parking my car and making sure it was properly locked and my valuable possessions out of sight I began my journey from my car to the front door. But I was soon greeted by a flight of stairs! With my brow crinkled in concentration I valiantly took on the first stair step and continued my march up the seemingly never-​ending staircase. The path from the top of the staircase to the front door of the barber shop was a perilous one indeed, whilst approaching the door I stopped for only the briefest of moments to look back on just how far I’d gotten. With my chest full of pride from yet another successful journey I entered the shop and sat down on their leather couches and waited my turn. After receiving the freshest haircut of all time I began my trek back to my vehicle and proceeded confidently onto my next adventure, wherever the winds of destiny would guide me.
Great barbershop tho. Really.

I recently moved down from California and needed a haircut. When I entered Barber Starrs I was greeted by Phil and his wife. They were so respectful and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Great Customer Service! Very friendly and they are amazing at what they do and the price is unbeatable. Best haircut I’ve had in years! Thank you guys I will defiantly be back in a few weeks!

Phil really cares about each person who walks into his barber shop! He takes his time with each client no matter how many people are waiting. He makes you feel like your the only one in the room and finds a way to give you the cut or style your looking for.
