Took my daughter here after a night out to see a play and could not have been more happy with the surprise ending to our night. The red velvet cupcake was her absolute favorite. I’m not sure if the gentleman working was the owner or just staff but he was super friendly and even brought our food outside to our table. Cupcake Castle is exactly why I go down to downtown Greer instead of Greenville.

Get the lavender cupcake! It is delicious and well-​priced. This place is only a year old but the quality of the cupcakes makes it seem like it’s been open for years! I definitely recommend coming here!

I think we must have caught them on an off day– on top of being uncomfortably hot as soon as we walked inside a place that serves ice cream on a hot day, we just felt generally unwelcome. Like they felt inconvenienced and mildly annoyed. I would not be welcoming if I worked in a place with no AC either, but you would think a small business with a whimsical business name and concept would yield a much better experience. I may give them another try one day to see if things have improved. The cupcakes were pretty good!
