Will never step foot in this Home Depot again! After a nightmare of a dishwasher-​purchase experience almost two years ago we made the mistake of going back to this store to purchase a new sliding glass patio door. The door was ordered the second week of August, delivery date set for Aug. 26^th. A week after the delivery date, with no sign of the door or communication from the store, we went in to find out what happened. At this point we learned the door was simply waiting in the back of the store. We’re not sure why we needed to visit the store to remind the employes that our door needed to be delivered when we had already set up a delivery date with the original sales associate. When it was delivered (now three weeks late) we were signing the delivery papers when we noticed the internal blinds we had ordered with our door were not there– they brought us the wrong one. We found out, after another two 1\2 hours in the store trying to figure out the problem, the company doesn’t even manufacture the door we ordered in the size we needed… why the sales associate didn’t catch that as he was entering all of our information the first evening we were there, we’ll never know. We re-​ordered another door and were told it would «get here when it gets here», no approximate delivery date, but they’d call us when it arrived. After about 7 weeks with no communication from Home Depot, we went back into the store to figure out how much longer we needed to wait. We spoke with a STORE MANAGER who was clearly on her way out for break or the day and had no apologies or remorse to offer. Surprise, surprise, our door was AGAIN waiting in the back of the store. For how long? Who knows. We requested the door be delivered the following day after 4:00. They couldn’t guarantee the time because their truck was out of service (?) but said they would call during the day to let us know so we could plan accordingly. The following day I received a phone call at work at 3:50. It was a CA phone number and I missed it but listened to the voicemail 10 minutes later. The driver was hard to understand but I caught, «bringing the door back to the store» at the end. I immediately called the number back and got the response, «I don’t know what to tell you» when I informed him we were promised a phone call earlier in the day if the delivery had to be before 4:00. I hung up and called the store right away, my patience running thin. The man I spoke to at the pro desk was apparently expecting my call because he interrupted and finished my story for me, agreeing to send the driver back to my house. I rushed home and was waiting for the driver to return. He was driving a full size box-​truck and was sent alone. He was friendly enough but appeared to have no experience delivering sliding glass doors (not that any SINGLE person could do this smoothly). I watched him fumble and nearly drop the door multiple times as he lowered it to the ground. He was then attempting to move it onto a wheeled device to push it but was unable to maneuver that so I (all 5ft 115lb of me) offed to help. We struggled for awhile, he asked me if I was okay with him just sliding it on the concrete… I said no. Eventually we got it onto the rolling thing and up the driveway, nearly breaking it repeatedly as the door slammed back and forth against the frame and it wobbled side to side. We finally got it propped up in my garage and I began signing the delivery papers when (de ja vu) I noticed the guide for the slider used to move the interior blinds was completely bent out of place. The driver suggested just pushing it back, but that failed. I asked him to call a supervisor and have them send another employee to assist him in loading the door back up into the truck but he didn’t have any phone number for any supervisor… so I called the store myself. I waited on hold for 10 minutes and was transferred 4 times (standing with the driver in my garage) before I spoke to a manager who agreed to send another employee to assist the delivery driver, who arrived almost 40 minutes later (we live 15 min away, MAX). In addition I demanded a full refund. We will take our refund and purchase a door elsewhere, two nightmare-​ish experiences from one store is enough.

Just moved here and went to this Home Depot to have keys made. Stood at the counter for 5 minutes behind another customer. Went to service desk and got snippy attitude from the customer service agent vs service. Said she would send someone over if she saw them. Left and went across the street to Lowes. Asked about having keys made, he directed us and paged an associate to help. Always liked Lowes better, now I remember why

This Home Depot is conveniently close to us, so we go there pretty often. There is lots of good parking and it’s not usually too crowded, but half of the time we go they don’t have what we need on the shelves and we have to wait around for someone to find ladder equipment to help us. Last week, we went to buy some medium-​sized boxes and they didn’t have any on the accessible shelves, so we waited 45 minutes (I’m not kidding) for someone to find a ladder and get the boxes down from the top shelf. It was a very unnecessarily stressful and time-​consuming task.

I go to The Home Depot because typically the service is so amazing that you leave with everything you’re looking for. Usually there’s somebody every 50 feet that are willing to help you but today, at THIS Home Depot, that wasn’t the case. One employee simply pointed and said «garden section» after asking him what I was looking for and the other one said, «well we probably don’t have it» and that was after I tracked them down because I couldn’t find anybody. All I need is a trailer dolly!

This is my favorite Home Depot location and even though I live closer to another, the people here really are awesome. I get suggestions in the paint department and people are willing to help as I wander the store for tidbits for our new home. Even the cashiers are super friendly! Highly recommended!

Today I was shopping with my family for a Christmas tree and had wonderful customer service. We walked into the store and got greeted almost immediately asking if we could be helped with something. We let them know we were looking for a live 9 foot Grande fir tree. The associate took us straight to the area that we needed to be, we picked a tree and they didn’t even let us lift one finger. They turned it around so we could make sure it was a full tree and then they took it to be cut and bagged.
We went back into the store to get some lights and then we were on our way. All we had to do was pay and back the truck up to the loading area and Jeremy put the tree right into the truck. «WHAT SERVICE»!!! Thank you Jeremy in the Tree lot!
It was a busy Sunday afternoon and these people were still so helpful and smiley. It felt so good in this Home Depot, did I mention my boys got to see Santa in the store, «WOW»
What a fantastic experience to have when you are getting ready for Christmas. I will be back to pick out some more decorations, very soon.

I wish I could remember the name of the man who DID NOT help me in the appliance department but I can’t. All I know is he was an older gentleman with glasses and a mustache. For the sake of this story, we will call him Mustache. My husband and I went in with our 3 month old twins to see if we could get a washer and dryer delivered the next day for the home we’d just purchased. As a parent, you cannot live without a washer and dryer so I was desperate to find something that could be delivered the next day. Mustache was working with another couple and there was no one else that could help us. The store manager even said we would have to wait to talk to mustache who was engrossed in his conversation and not looking to help anyone else. Really? You’re the store manager and you cannot help us? So after the manager interrupted him, Mustache asked us, not too enthusiastically, how he could help. I asked him if there was any way we could get a washer and dryer delivered tomorrow and he laughed at me. HE LAUGHED AT ME. He said there was no way as the manufacturer has some ridiculous delivery time table or some B.S. and we couldn’t get a delivery until ¹¹⁄₂₁. That was over a month away. We asked if any one could and he said no one could… well that was a bunch of crap. I called Lowes and they got it to me cheaper and the next day! I will never shop at HD again and I have told anyone who will listen. I’ve also made an additional $ 4000.00 worth of purchases at Lowes. You missed out Mustache. I hope HD knows what an unprofessional person they have working for them and what he cost them. Lowes forever!

This Home Depot is laid out a bit different then others I have been to. Yes, as a home owner I tend to frequent the home stores a few times a week for the never ending list of small and large projects an older home requires.
Today I was looking for new closet layouts and some stain. I was a bit surprised that I was actually spoken to several times by people in vests. Normally you have to hunt them down. Seemed every isle I went down someone asked if I needed help. I guess my new perfume is really working.
I asked my questions, took some pictures and away I went about my browsing.
I did find out that they do parts for whatever you need. You can call 877−650−2127 from 7 to Midnight (EST) 7 days a week for parts. Recently my range hood went out and we figured out it was a 200.00 part. I decided against the part as I could get an entirely new range hood for about 75.00 less then the part was going to cost. I had teetered a little about buying the part to fix it because what if it wasn’t the right part? I was promptly told they would take it back for for 365 days after I got it, for any reason. It’s nice to know that exists because who wants to try to do it them self and be stuck with expensive parts that maybe weren’t required.

We went to this Home Depot on Sunday of July 13^th 2014 and return again on Tuesday July 15^th 2014 after work. Time was about 18:28hrs. Since Hubs already «recce» of what he needs be it at this store and at Lowe’s just across the street and thought about it the during the weekend. Hence to this Home Depot we went. Doable and Hubs managed to purchase the items we need be it for Hubs work or even our DIY Never-​Ending Projects! Boys WITH Their TOYS! *SIGH* Err for this time around, coz its the weekday, its definitely a breeze shopping here without the «chase» from the Staffs.
Definitely returning to this HOME DEPOT since its the CLOSEST to Hubs work site at this moment of time since May 2014.

I’ve made the mistake of coming to this Home Depot on a few different occasions. Each time, I have promised myself never again. Seriously, this time I mean it. Actually wait, no, I haven’t come here on my own accord in a long while; I always get taken here or forced to come in with someone I know.
Each time it is the same: aloof employees who have zero clue about anything. «Nails? Uh yeah, check aisle 25… or maybe 10… or try 15.» This location has some of the worst employees for anything I’ve ver seen, been to, or experiences, ever. I’m batting 0−25+, pure 0.000%BA on finding a competent one so far. I’ve actually experienced making eye contact with an employee, who beelines it away from me on multiple occasions.
It’s cool though. I simply drive down the street to Lowe’s, where the employees actually know what having a job means.

Well, I didn’t think I would have a good reason to review Home Depot, but since the lady and I recently bought a house I feel like Norm in Cheers to this place! From what I can see, this Home Depot is nothing spectacular. The employees are few and far between but helpful when you get one. Justin-​The manager was super helpful on one occasion but that was the only occasion that I saw him. Overall, lots of stuff to assist with your home-​owning needs.

Terrible customer service. Wanted to purchase plants for the Black Friday sale but due to the weather, the plants were covered and unavailable. I requested a rain check because I was unable to complete my purchase and was told no. Huge fail Home Depot. I will definitely be shopping at Lowes going forward… hopefully others will as well after reading this review.

This is a Home Depot, like any other. Big, lots of stuff, too few staff members available to help you. A recent experience soured me on this particular store, however.
Immediately after the recent flooding I purchased a sump pump online for in-​store pickup. Upon arrival I was told «we don’t have any of those». I showed them my confirmed order and we figured out their computerized inventory had been wrong. This kind of thing happens, I understand. Unfortunately my visit went downhill from there.
I inquired about purchasing the display model since I was desperate. It took 25 minutes and a trek across the store in search of the manager (after three calls to raise him failed to bring him to the Customer Service desk) to find out that no, they wouldn’t sell the display model. In the process two employees lied to me as to why they couldn’t sell it («it’s just a hollow shell, not a working pump») and got surly with me when I called them on this. In the end I was out an hour of my time due to an inventory mistake and less than helpful staff. Unlike a small hardware store where each customer is valued, Home Depot offered nothing by way of an apology.

I normally am a big fan of Home Depots. This one, not so much. I stopped in last Friday afternoon after work to get some ideas on pricing for kitchen counters and some hardwood flooring.
Normally, I have great experiences with Home Depot staff who are super helpful and super friendly. Well, this trip I had two cases of some awkward interactions with employees. The first place I went once I got inside the store was to the kitchen counter and cabinet area. I was looking at a few samples and seeing what they had. I just needed a general idea on some prices. The first gal I spoke with asked me if I knew what I was looking for. I told her what was interesting to me. She gave me some decent help and info. Then, she asked me when I was looking to get it all installed. I told her I didn’t know. Perhaps 3 – 6 months? Maybe a year? Boom, instant «OFF» switch for her. Basically since I wasn’t wanting to install it right away, she was like, well see ya. I mean literally she went from helpful, to just walking away and sitting back down at her computer. The first thing she said after she sat back down was, «well I’ve got to work on this.» She was working on some plan/​design. I was baffled mostly at how fast she went from happy and helpful to «ok dude, gtfo of here if you aren’t buying today.» I was in a great mood, so I just left it at that. Had I been in a really bad mood or on edge for some reason, I would have probably said something to a manager. No big deal…
The second awkward interaction I had with an employee was… wow… seriously awkward. I just hate being approached in a store by an employee who is trying really hard to sell me something. This is the first time I’ve had anyone at a Home Depot try to set me up and sell me something. She wanted to get my contact info, including phone, address, email, you name it. I hate that! The worst part was that when she came up, she hovered a little bit before «pouncing.» The part that was really awkward was that I couldn’t tell if «she» was a «she» or a «he.» I know that sounds bad, but you know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m not discriminatory, but its hard when I want to say, «Excuse me … uh… sir… errrr… uhm… ma’am?» IF I CAN’T TELL, I’M SORRY! Help me out lady/​dude, give me some sort of identifying clue so I don’t feel weird. I don’t care which you are or if you’re stuck in the middle. Speak first or give me some sort of clue!!! So, after I’d said, «Hi sir.» She said hi, and I felt like an idiot. That’s what she gets if she forces me to speak first. Then we waltzed through her little scripted talk she has to give me. Finally, she left. Super awkward. Sorry lady for calling you a sir. You should have not left it at this super long pause for launching your sell-​attack about how I can sign up and get a big discount on my tile to match my backsplash and how cool it would be to have a designer come to my place. NO THANKS!!!
I’ll avoid this HD from now on. There weren’t enough helpful employees and there were far too many weird situations.

Standard Home Depot. Lots of stuff, little organization, no employees when you need them. Its very close to my work so it’s convenient to hit up at lunch time, but don’t expect help finding things. They do have the usual huge variety of things and the tax rate is lower here than most of the surrounding stores.

Within the past 24 hours i have given this store over 500 dollars of my hard-​earned cash… so what’s my point? I shouldn’t have to ask to seek out help.
I made 9 trips to this same location and only 1 person asked me if i needed some assistance, kind of ridiculous if you ask me.
Until they can improve on customer-service…i will be shopping at Lowes.

Look, I don’t even own a hammer… I use the heel of my high heels to nail things to the wall. Don’t judge… it’s just what I do. These guys are always so helpful to me in all of my limited (ok, zero) knowledge of all things hardware. They’ve even had to console me when I felt overwhelmed by a project.
All in all, great service, great location and very user friendly. 5 stars from me!

I live just slightly closer to this Home Depot than the one in Park Meadows. Generally they are fairly equal in everything, however I tend to prefer the other Home Depot when I know I will need help from someone in a particular department. For some reason the Park Meadows store either has more people or they are more available and willing to help you out.
That being said, this is a great store, never too crowded, and the employees ARE friendly and willing to help (should you need it).
I have completely remodeled my Master Bath and Kitchen (like gutted both of them) and have made a zillion trips to this Home Depot. I’m never dissapointed!
Went in today for some Mud, paint supplies and other miscellaneous products and was greeted at the door. Sped through the Self-​Check out line even with the giant 100 pound box of mud (which I asked the lady there to please scan for me with her gun because I wasn’t about to lift it up again for the self-scanner…LOL…she was more than willing and did it with a smile!).

Chainsaw rental and many other power tools available for rent. I go to Home Depot all the time for many different reasons.
Lately, I’ve been doing many other people’s yard work or home projects.
Home Depot is always there for my needs.
