I belong to GATC and am glad to have Ink a part of the club, but their staff could really use a lesson in customer service. Today I arrived at the coffee bar with one person in front of me & an apparent shift change between the two female workers. There were 4 gentleman at the bar who one worker was making drinks for. The other worker made herself a very large & complex drink while chatting & sipping as she went about her way. Before either ladies finished, there was a line of 6 patrons, none of which had been greeted or helped while the ladies chatted. The worker who’s shift had apparently ended said her goodbyes and left without offering to help anyone. The remaining worker never made eye contact as the gentleman at the front of the line placed his merchandise down & left. I politely asked her how long she thought it would be before I could place my order. She told me she would need to make 2 more drinks before she could help me. I told her I would be leaving, she responded«have a nice day». I waited in line for 9 minutes, there really is no excuse for this type of poor service. If ink had any competition to deal with, they would be out of business in a week. I will make a habit of picking up my smoothie elsewhere before I arrive at the gym.

They had good coffee but don’t expect to come here to get a nice cooked meal. It’s located in the athletic complex and their kitchen isn’t that big so they don’t have proper cooking equipment which forces them to cook and egg sandwich with the microwave(microwave chef). Like I said, good coffee, I would only advise going somewhere else for a decent breakfast.

I work in DTC, and I go here when Tolle Lege is closed. It’s annoying to have to sign in to the building to get to the coffee, but some days it’s worth it. Odd vibe — seems like some sort of gym or something surrounding the island-style coffee shop. But the servers are friendly and the coffee is better than starbucks or Dunkin.

Good coffee. This is a great place for a meeting, and also a great place to hang out and work for a few hours.

Agreed with Derek — ink! is awesome in any location. Although I stick with just black coffee, one cup is really all I need. You can tell its premium coffee.

Ink! Coffee is awesome in any location! I chose to review this one since it’s the main one I go too because it’s so close to where I work. Their coffee is fantastic, their baristas always friendly, and it’s never so incredibly busy! Definitely recommend coming here instead of going to stand in long lines at Starbucks to drink that nasty stuff. I must say Pablo’s near where I live in Cap Hill is still where my heart remains, but when I’m not near there I will always choose Ink.
