ALARA Greenwood Village

I have lived here for almost 5 years total and I don’t know what has happened with the front office but management is terrible! They never return calls, they don’t seem to have any clue as to what’s going on — ever, I have called a few times and the phone has been disconnected, it’s exhausting trying to get anything done!!! I call and call and call and email and email and the only time that I ever get a response is when THEY need something. I was trying to sign new paperwork for TWO MONTHS and they finally figured it out the day that my paperwork was due and called/​emailed me at 5:05 PM and said that I have until 6 to get there to sign the new paperwork when I had been asking for months for it. I will NOT be renewing here.

Looks Like Alara has made quite a few changes… I had concerns walking in to the property with the existing reviews. My experience was not like the 1 star reviews. The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable, and caring. Best of all however is that they have a racket ball court and a sauna!!!

Very difficult management staff. I have never in my life delt with more uncaring management. Since the first day I moved in I have had several maintance, and pest control issues. Ant infestation, air conditioner out of order, plumming not working, smoke detector not even operational. And that was just the first day.
The real kicker was on Jan 1^st. when the neighbors water pipes burst into my storage and ruined $ 3,500 worth of belongings.

Do not live here!!! I signed the lease on Nov 14^th and they «couldn’t do the walk through» because it was getting dark… I pulled into the garage and the toilet was flooding through the ceiling causing it to basically rain through the floor and into the garage. Andrea and Natalie in the leasing office were no help what so ever and Natalie told me that «nothing was preventing our move in, and that it was still very livable». She was extremely rude… two weeks later we were able to start moving in, although we were paying rent for that entire time. We Also tried to escalate the issue to Stacy, who is the regional manager but never heard back from her after multiple voice mails and emails. If I were in college I may understand, but I am not so I expected a much higher level of professionalism.
Terrible. Please take my advice and do not repeat this mistake!

I lived in these apartments for a couple years and moved only because I purchased a home. The location was very convenient for me, as I didn’t have far to travel for work. I25, 225, and the light rail are all accessible within a mile. Plus, there’s a grocery store and several restaurants and bars within walking distance. A variety of bike/​walking trails run nearby, one that even cuts thru the apartments and follows a green belt (dog approved but beware of coyotes)
The unit I rented was fairly big, a 1 bedroom with study which spread out on 3 levels. The garage was located on the entry level and the rest of the living space was divided between the upper levels. Lots of stairs to keep you in shape!
Both management and staff are courteous and professional, and responded to all my issues in a timely manner. And Greenwood Village PD patrols the complex at night, if that helps you feel at ease. I left my garage open one night and woke up to find a note on my car from an officer… just a gentle reminder that closing garage doors prevents theft.
The only thing this place really lacks is parking. You have a garage to park in of course, but there are only a few visitor spots and most of the units’ driveways don’t have the capacity to fit another car.
I definitely miss the area, and would recommend this community to anyone who wants to live in a more relaxed environment, and still within reach from all the big city amenities.
