This Sephora location is the worst. The customer service is abhorrent. After my recent experience I will never shop at this location again. I went to this location today with a friend who was interested in buying some products. She wanted me to help her try some makeup on. So, I picked out some products and began to apply them. After about 7 minutes the store manager came over and informed me that I was not allowed to apply makeup on my friend. She said I had to buy a $ 50 gift card and have one of the sales associates do the application. I explained that my friend had a $ 130 gift card and had already had it done by an artist there, but was unhappy with the results. The manager was insistent and completely rude. She went on to say that it was a liability issue and said that we needed to wrap it up and that I, specifically, could no longer try on makeup at that store. I found the whole experience shocking and disgusting. My friend ended up spending over $ 300 at the store despite the unbelievably rude manger. I have been to many Sephora’s and have done the same thing. I have never heard of this policy. I even called corporate to ask what the police was and they were unaware of any such policy.

I have tried giving this location SO many chances because I work right on the ave. I know nothing about makeup and have tried going into this store so many times for help/guidance/advice ANYTHING, but in all the times I have come here I can never get ANYONE to help me. Which is funny because I know that if someone took 10 minutes of their time to help I would probably walk out with $ 200+ worth of products. I totally understand going in at a busy time or having a rush during holiday season, but I have gone here on NUMEROUS different occasions and it’s the same deal every time. Once I even begged someone to help me and they said«In a few minutes.» Well I didn’t have a few minutes because I was on my lunch break. It’s clear that the staff they have is incompetent of helping multiple people at a time and they need to hire more people. It’s a shame…

I needed to buy a special lipstick and nail color for my sister. She needed a specific kind. I asked in many places, including online and could not find it. Actually many places I visited was like: If we don’t have it, why should we help you find it? Like: what’s in it for us? And this is not the way to treat people. In Sephora I asked one woman, and she answered that they don’t have what I need, but she can help me find it. For 10 minutes she explained to me where and how to get it, even she knew that I will not buy something here. And following her instructions, I found what I was looking for. This is something that worth 5 stars review. I don’t know if she is a special person, or this is what Sephora do, but they earned 5 stars rating from me.

Sephora is my adult playground. I get all my makeup tidbits and much more. I love coming to this location, simply because, it’s well kept and super flawless. Items are precisely stocked and nothing is out of whack. Isles are free of clutter and boxes(unlike other chains who claim to be beauty superstores). Customer service is top-notch and never a loss here. I was on a quest to look for the right shade of red lipstick, eyeshadow and other goodies. Here comes Barbara, who hooked me up to the highest level. She took every effort to please my wants and needs. Thanks Sweety Pie.

Ok, I cannot say enough about how great your Greenwich, CT location is. I have been there many times and I have had amazing experiences every single time. Andrene, Maria, and Ron have really stood out for me, as well as a girl that I see at the register every time, but I keep forgetting to get her name(but she has long black hair and wears blue lipstick!!). I have gone their for all types of products and have always left with exactly what I needed. They are very knowledgable and really make me feel like I matter to them as a customer(very different from the White Plains location). I’ve spent a ton of money at Sephora(very close to Rouge status) and I have never once left the Greenwich store thinking I bought something I wouldn’t like or would need to return(again, very different from the White Plains location). I really hope a big wig can see this because I really have never been to a store, any store, where the employees were so amazing. Whoever is seeing this, please point this out to a higher up because these folks deserve the recognition!!!

I am a VIB Rouge member and I was treated very poorly and was disrespected by the manager, Dawn, on 3÷29÷15 in the early afternoon. I had made an appointment for a makeup lesson for my sister in law and was assured that I could transfer my free makeover to her. We had planned to purchase some products after the makeup lesson as well. The makeup artists were very nice and they did a good job and made my sister in law feel comfortable but halfway through the lesson, the manager, Dawn, came up to us and said I could not transfer my makeup lesson to my sister in law and that I had to buy $ 50 worth of makeup. I politely explained to her that I had called previously and the Sephora associate said there was no problem with transferring my lesson to my sister in law and there would be no obligation to purchase products since I was a VIB Rouge member. Dawn told me I was mistaken and lit into me in front of my sister in law and other customers in the store. She was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude to me. The rest of the staff was nice but I will never set foot or spend any money in Sephora Greenwich again because of her attitude. She should be fired and I intend to call Sephora corporate to complain. My sister in law and I spent over $ 150 on makeup products that day so Dawn’s rude and obnoxious treatment was totally unnecessary. I have never been so poorly treated in a store in my life.

This store is a joke! Customer Service has gone down hill ! I went there to buy a few things and couldn’t get any of my questions answered and got harassed by this associate«Sandra» who was very unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with! Will not go back there!
