I tried this place after getting a Groupon. Thinking it was going to be one of those posh spas you typically would find on Greenwich Ave, I discovered instead what seemed to be a makeshift parlor tucked upstairs through an inconspicious door leading from the street.
The girl at the desk seemed very nice and asked me if I had any areas I needed special attention on. I told her my shoulders and then added that I liked the pressure very firm.
They obviously do not mess around because my masseuse, Wei Wei, straddled me, placed her hands on my back and then literally applied all her body weight. She then proceeded to give me the hardest massage ever. It. hurt. So. Good.
So all in all, it was a pretty good experience and would recommend going. And if you need a really firm massage, Wei Wei is like the Hercules of masseuses.
