I have come here for about 2 years and enjoyed the food. That was until recently when I was tremendously disappointed with the service and management I received. I went into Bobby Q’s Pit Stop with a simple request: I wanted a sandwich on a wrap instead of a wedge. The reason I ordered it this way is because my father is a diabetic, and too much white bread raises his blood sugar. I had not made the clerk nor the cook aware of this, and nor should I have to. The cook refused to make the wrap for me, because he claimed it would fall apart. I told him I didn’t care and it would be fine with me if it broke some. The clerk asked him four times to cook the wrap, and he refused her to. I walked out of the restaurant and told her that it was bad business to not give the customer what they wanted. The next day I called the main restaurant in Westport to speak to the owner about the experience. He was not in and they told me to call back again tomorrow, so I did. He was not there when I called back, so I spoke to the manager. She told me that what I dealt with was unacceptable and took my phone number for the owner to call me back. I waited about 4 days for the call, and it never came. After this time, I called back, and I ended up speaking to the owner’s wife. She said her husband had tried to call me, but no one answered. I did not receive any missed calls nor voicemails from him, so I doubt that is true. She told me that he had spoken to the people in Greenwich, and the cook told him the reason he refused to make the wrap was because their wraps aren’t gluten free and wouldn’t help with diabetes anyway. I told her I never mentioned that to him, but she responded by saying that he recognized me and that I was such a good customer, he remembered that my father is diabetic. I do not believe this for one second, because what I didn’t tell her is that a few days before I called, a friend of mine went in there and asked for a wrap instead of a wedge, and the same cook refused to make it. Does this man have psychic powers that can sense medical conditions in his customers? Somehow, I don’t think so. Even if he did, it is not his determination what the customer should be served. Even Burger King lets you«Have it your way.» The woman told me that her husband would call me back immediately. That was last week. The people who work there and who own the place are liars, won’t make food to your liking, and have no interest in getting back to their customers to make unnecessary problems their employees created right. In the 18 years before this place was Bobby Q’s, it was a video store, bagel place, Donny’s Deli, and Moe’s Burger Joint. Things in this location have a difficult time staying open, and unless they want to go the same route as the previous establishment, they should make a conscious effort to not anger the customers and drive them away, like they did to me and my father, because there are plenty of places to get a burger.

Have been there about 6 – 7 times. Quality of food has varied each time. Service is pretty disorganized. The worst being on my last to-go order, they didn’t even come close to getting my burger correct. Since we live close by, we took it back and they tried to argue that the BBQ sauce which they mistakenly put on was just juice from the tomatoes. Then they said that they were busy and it was going to take another 45 minutes to redo my burger. I finally did get my burger, however was utterly disappointed with the 1−½ tiny pieces of bacon. It’s obvious that if you personally know someone who works there, you get preferential treatment. For the rest if us, it’s just a roll of the dice.

Delicious chili burger and sweet potato fries. I think I will go here often. Great service, friendly, very reasonable cost. Big portions, very clean, happy. Hooray, a great add to the neighborhood.
