Tyler White O’Brien Gallery represents over forty accomplished artists including local, national, and international talent. Ongoing gallery exhibitions feature original paintings of all media, portraits, fine craft, and pottery. The handcrafted jewelry of «Adorned by Lonnie» includes casual to exquisite works by artisans worldwide. Sharing resources, education, supporting our artists and community & having fun! are all important to us. Annual collaborations and special events with local organizations including Alight, RED DOG Farm Animal Rescue Network, The Arc of Greensboro & Crayons Matter enable us to showcase exceptional art while supporting community philanthropy and organizations.

History

Established in 1998.

Started as «Compton Gallery» in the early 90’s by Anne Compton Morrisette as Anne partnered with Marti Tyler & Judy White in 1998 to become «Tyler White Gallery». I joined the gallery gals in 2004 and took over the business in 2010 to become «Tyler White O’Brien Gallery».

Business Owner

I started my career as a work study student at UNCG at the Weatherspoon Museum in 1994. Working 5 years at the Weatherspoon gave me great tools and ambition for what I wanted to do in life. Having the opportunity to work with a wonderful group at Green Hill while I was in college was also a blessing. I also had the chance to work at ERL Originals before coming to Tyler White in 2004.
