I attended funeral services and repast for Bishop Vander D. Purcell, Jr., who, along with his posthumous wife, Evangelist Dola Purcell founded Sanctuary Deliverance Church. Elder Purcell preached The Word at the church and other churches founded under the Sanctuary Deliverance name. Although it may not be considered a mega church, I have always found it, first and foremost, to be a righteous and accommodating place to worship under Bishop Purcell.
