History

Established in 1975.

The history of the facility dates back to 1974, then called Royal Villa, Heritage House and other names. A key venue and hotel at the time, it was and still is central to Greensboro, the interstate and commerce, both commercial and retail.

At the end of 2012 Meridan Convention LLC, backed by passionate entrepreneurs, has assumed management of the property immediately providing a new, affordable venue to Greensboro. With the completion of our renovations at the end of summer 2015, the Meridian will have a beautiful contemporary edge mixed with the class and style originally built into the property.

With over 33,000 square feet of meeting space, breakout rooms, reception, staging areas & catering preparation, the Meridian has the capacity to fill your event’s need.
