When you are ready to commit to yourself and to your well-being, I will be at your side. This first step of reaching out is the hardest, but you can do it. Established in 2003.
M. Brett Debney is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Master’s and Educational Specialist dual degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and has been providing counseling services within a professional clinical setting since May of 2003. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC #4897), and is certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NCC #80 007).

Business Owner
M. Brett Debney received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wesleyan University and her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).
Brett’s career in the mental health field began while living in San Francisco, California, where Brett was a volunteer on the San Francisco Suicide Prevention Hotline. She completed an extensive training program to qualify to work with SFSP, and learned that she cared deeply about helping others to attain emotional stability, improved mental health, and general wellbeing.
Brett has worked at Moses Cone Behavioral Health as a counselor working with adults, adolescents and children. This experience enabled Brett to sharpen her skills and gain a wide body of experience in group and individual therapy. Brett feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to do such important work.
