Friendly group of guys who do great work at a fair price. I will never go anywhere else for auto repairs in Greensboro.

I found Curry Tires based on their previous Unilocal reviews, and I’m happy to say the reviews were correct. I went there this morning for new tires and a long overdue alignment. I needed the work done within a couple of hours and they were able to accommodate that (I did call ahead the previous day to make sure). The tires cost about what I expected to pay based on research and previous experience, and I actually got everything done slightly cheaper than I expected, with no hidden nonsense fees. Also, they let me know things that I would probably need to get done soon (and these are things I already knew about, so I know they weren’t just BSing to drum up more business). Finally, they didn’t talk down to me or assume I was unknowledgable just because I’m a woman. Overall a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend them.

I am extremely pleased with my experience with Curry’s. I called them about having my tires replaced– and while they did have one tire in my size, Zack was very honest and let me know that the condition of the tire was not so great, and he wouldn’t feel comfortable installing it unless it was a dire emergency and I just needed a tire to use for only a few miles. It is so good to know that there are still businesses out there that care more about doing what is right for the customer, and less about making a quick buck. When I have car issues in the future, I certainly know who I will trust for my maintenance needs!

fixed my car for a reasonable price, AND THE REPAIRS STAY FIXED!!! timing belt and water pump. As a woman, I’ve dealt with mechanics that pander or talk down a little to me, they treated me with respect, very cool. Definitely recommend them if you want a problem to get fixed for once and for all.

Being from out of town l, i was glad to find out that they were good and honest .fast and efficient. Saved me a lot of unnecessary $$$$. I was very grateful.

Thank goodness I found a local mechanic who I can trust! These guys are courteous and professional, and they take the time to talk through the issues with you. I brought in my 2002 Chevy Prizm to diagnose the check engine light and OBD codes (P0440, P0441, P0446) that another local shop had blundered about with.
These guys were able to properly and definitively diagnose the issue and have it all repaired the following day. Now, the vehicle has passed the state inspection and the plate is good for another year. Thanks, Mort and team!

Curry Tire is great to work with. They tell you what needs done and what you might need in the future but without any pressure.
I wished we would have found them years ago. My son is a UNCG student and I worried about being taken advantage of but not with Curry Tire. Zack kept us advised of the progress and price all along the way. We will continue to use them.

When I came to town, some longtime Greensboro residents recommended Curry to me. I’ve been there for a few car problems, and these guys have always been prompt, fair, helpful, and friendly.

Was referred by a co-​worker and have been very pleased so far. The guys are honest and upfront about what work needed to be done and what could wait… they even talked my husband OUT of getting new tires! And their prices are very reasonable… best place for good car care!

I really wish I had known about this place the 5 years I lived in Greensboro, but I’m glad I found this place this morning. I commute daily between Durham and Greensboro, and when i noticed my car making a funny sound, I knew I had to get it looked at. Using Unilocal led me to Curry and I’m glad it did. These guys are really knowledgeable and they explain things in a way that even someone like me who knows nothing about cars, can follow and understand. There level of customer service is so great, that when I dropped my car off this morning they even brought me back to my job since I couldn’t find a ride back.
In the end nothing major was wrong with my car and they did not charge me for the diagnostic of my car. For now on I will be telling all my friends still in the Boro to come here.
Only downside is getting to the place, which requires you to really pay attention. Curry is located on Lee St right next door to the UHaul place, but, as I found out this morning, they are two different places. So just make sure you watch out for the Curry sign at their entrance.

Been taking my car to Curry Tire for probably 12 years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else if I didn’t have to. They are thorough and up front about everything they’re doing, they don’t surprise you with stuff or try and talk all around you to make you think you need repairs you don’t need. I’ve referred dozens of friends there and will continue to do so. They’re great.

I moved to Greensboro 6 years ago and a stipulation of bringing my car along was to find a better than good mechanic. Mort and Curry Tire and Auto is the answer. Located just off of the UNCG campus, I used him regularly when I work there. Suggested their services to my co-​workers and we always had positive experiences.
I would drive across town to leave my car for a check up while I traveled. They would always call and confirm any repairs they would make. My mother and roommates mother used Curry Tire and Auto in a pinch when they visited. Our mothers had FUN at the car shop. Even the tow truck guys love this place!
Mort and his crew are honest and transparent about what is necessary to fix the car. Even gave me a free travel check up when I told them I was moving to Philly.
I’ve been very sad to leave their services behind.
