Definitely my favorite consignment store in Greensboro so far! This one has the most upscale contemporary brands that I’ve seen in the area. (Other places I’ve been to seem to cater to more of the Chico’s/Eileen Fisher crowd.)
From a buyer’s perspective: I saw a lot of Lilly Pulitzer, DVF and a rack of St. John. I also saw Shoshanna, Milly, Nanette Lepore, Michael Stars, Tory Burch, Chanel, Kate Spade, and too many other designer brands to count. There is also a small area of kids clothes with some beautiful smocked baby items. I ended up buying a Ralph Lauren top ($ 25) and a smocked baby onesie ($ 16).
I also dropped off some items to sell. I brought in about 30 pieces. The sales associate took them to the owner in a back room and came back about 5 minutes later with the pieces that they did not accept. (I appreciated avoiding the awkward conversation of why certain pieces weren’t taken like I’ve experienced in other stores.) They accepted 14 of my in-​season pieces such as Marc Jacobs, Brooks Brothers, Lilly, Coach, Theory, and J. Crew. They’ll keep my items for 90 days and I get 40% of the sale price. I haven’t sold anything yet, so I can’t comment on the rest of the selling process other than that the drop-​off went smoothly.
I look forward to going back to the store!
