We have ordered from here many times. Tonight the driver could not find us and after 3 or 4 calls to us with me giving them directions and my husband going out to meet her… And not seeing her. I finally just told her to park by the clubhouse at our apartments and we would meet her and get our food… If you have people delivering they need to be able to read the numbers on the building … It is lite up on our building in clear view!!!

I ordered delivery from here last night. I must say that the delivery driver was really nice but the issue here was that the food was barely warm. I did enjoy the food which was the General Tso Chicken Combo with Sesame Seed added and Crab Rangoon. The crab rangoon was the first thing I tried and it could have very well been that the rangoon was cooked first either way the food wasn’t the hottest. It was just decent. I would order again but probably pick it up. Only reason why I ordered delivery is I was working. I need to give it another shot but until then this is what I have.

DONOTORDERFROMHERE! I’ve given this place a try more than a few times. It’s small, privately owned, and doesn’t have a lot of business. So I tried to support the«under dog» but boy did it bite me in the butt! On one occasion I ordered shrimp and broccoli, and it stank… literally. The shrimp smelled as if it had gone bad. I called back to the store to ask if they could send me out a replacement. The lady argued with me and insisted that they only serve fresh food, which was obviously a lie! Everyone in my home smelled and even tasted the dish and it was clearly not fresh, not even a little bit. I asked if I could at least have a store credit being that I’d paid for a dish that wasn’t edible and they were refusing to send me out a new one. She refused. That day I vowed never to order from them again. Last week I wanted wonton soup so I called over to my favorite Chinese restaurant(Golden Wok) to order. Unfortunately the delivery guy hadn’t gotten to work yet and wouldn’t be in for another hour. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to wait that long and ended up ordering from Chen’s Express AGAIN. Smh silly me! I ordered wonton soup and general chicken. The chicken was over breaded and hard. Had an ok flavor to it but it was too hard. I over looked it and went to try the soup. It was disgusting! The meat inside was unrecognizable and chewy! The dough looked as though it had been prepared the day before and reheated. It wasn’t fresh. It was rubbery and nasty. I called back to the store to alert them about the poor quality of my food. The lady that takes the orders has HORRIBLE customer service! If ever you are unhappy with your food she will NOT try to compensate you ATALL! Again she argued with me about how she had just made the wontons and that the soup was fresh blah blah blah! This was clearly a LIE! There was no way she made the soup right when I called, especially considering that the meat in side(«pork») was rubbery. I’ve had really good Chinese food and really bad Chinese food, this I would definitely consider BAD! Don’t waste your time or your money! The lady at the front is unfriendly and RUDE! Her customer service skills are nonexistent! The cooks clearly don’t know what they are doing and the food is not fresh! GOELSEWHERE! You’ve been warned! P. S. There’s a restaurant called Golden Wok right up the street from this one. Go there instead! The food is amazing!

They screwed up my take out order twice in a row. Then they refused to send a delivery driver back out to my house. She said they were too busy and I would have to come back to their restaurant to get a partial refund. I will not order from this place again! Food is just fair but poor service!

Visiting Greensboro and decided to try this place since it was close to my hotel. Ordered egg rolls(which I love) that were mediocre. Also ordered the veggie dumplings. I was excited to see they make their own. I was disappointed though when I tasted them. No flavor at all. And they wee falling apart and mushy. I also ordered the scallion chicken thinking it was something else. What I got was General Tao’s Chicken with scallion. If I’m being honest it was tasty. The chicken chunks were nice and crispy. All in all the food was alright. Hit and miss more appropriate. I don’t live here so probably wouldn’t come back.

The food is really good and the price is very reasonable. I tried the shrimp fried rice, spring rolls and crab wontons. Everything was delicious. Will definitely go back. Also, the customer service was wonderful.

This place used to be amazing a few years ago when I went to college here. I raved about the place so much that when my boyfriend and I were in Greensboro last week, he wanted to try it out. Well needless to say, the food tasted nothing like it used to. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either. We were starving so it was good, but had we not been starving it would have just been okay. The lady taking the orders was not the most pleasant either. Chens Express fell off. I wonder if the one on lawndale taste different now also? Hmm…

7÷28÷15 I’m rating this restaurant with 3 stars due to customers service. The lady at the counter was not the most pleasant individual. Seeing how I’ve only been there maybe twice prior, it’s the little things like«hello» that the determine if I would return. Food is mediocre. Don’t remember past experience with this restaurant or how the food taste, but I can tell you this. I will not be back. I can take my business else where and I feel like my money makes a difference.

They delivered the food missing an order of chili cheese fries when i ordered two. When i called back to let them know of the problem, they didn’t answer the 5 times i called. When they did, they told me the manager will call me once he’s back(5 mins so he claimed) and no one called back. I even gave a tip. They took the money for not doing the job, if that’s not stealing then i don’t know what is. I can report them if i wanted to.

Great tasting food, I will admit upon arriving to place my order I first thought to myself this must be a joke. Looking from the outside, I had serious doubts; so I decided to take a chance and place a small order. After tasting my food, I was beyond happy I took the chance. So happy at my choice, I think I will be giving up my regular spot, I’ve been faithful to for almost two years. The broccoli shrimp is flavorful and the shrimp are a nice size, if I were to guess they are large sized shrimp. I ordered the shrimp dumplings, which was a first for me but they didn’t disappoint. Needless to say I will definitely be going back for another visit.

I thought that this was some of the best run of the mill chinese that I have ever had. Tried the Mongolian chicken and hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup was excellent! The mongolian chicken was full of flavor and a pretty healthy serving but lacking the amount of chicken I expected. The fried rice was better that most bland chinese rice. It sort of reminded me of the Japanese rice at the hibachi place. Overall I thought the place was pretty good and would try it again. if you’re in the mood for Chinese and live or are in this area give this place a shot.

I happened by this place late in the evening on the way to the hotel. I wanted quick take-out and this fit the bill. Got the roast pork lo mein combination and it was very good and a good-sized portion. The proprietor was very friendly. Service was quick, maybe 7 minutes.

I feel bad that this place gets bad reviews but here goes my experience . The place was pretty much dead and no customers, I kinda wanted to leave. But I saw the family and I just felt bad so I decided to order some food ! I got the sesame chicken for about 6 dollars. It looked pretty small but then it was actually a lot in the box. Also, it came with some rice which was nice ! My food was good ! It’s just seems like the lady isn’t so friendly ! But I hope they could be more consistent to get the guest back. Because it’s not really that bad. Maybe depends on your luck lol

Don’t believe the complaints! I placed my delivery order online and it arrived 20 minutes before the estimated delivery time. About 35 minutes after I placed the order. It’s hard for me to judge the food because I wasn’t feeling well and I thought some Chinese food would do the trick… not this time. But everything looked good and what I tasted was fine.

I placed a delivery order because they are open late on weeknights(1am). I was disappointed to discover that five out of my six«vegetarian dumplings» contained either pork or beef. The one veggie one wasn’t good either. The meaty dumpling error shouldn’t have been missed as every item on my order was vegetarian. Otherwise, the food arrived much quicker than expected and the spring rolls were tasty.

Why didn’t I read the Unilocal reviews before ordering? Conveniently located next to my hotel for the night I didn’t think twice before walking inside. First warning sign came when I pulled into the sketchy strip mall with strange smokey individuals lurking around in the darkness with paper bags and puffing away anxiously on their cigarettes. This Chinese spot is located next to a slot machine mini-casino, a Dairy Queen, a gas station and a licquor store! Hello!?! Warning signs if I’ve ever seen them! But no, I wanted to stay positive and give them a chance, maybe they can’t afford a nicer, safer location but the food might still be good; practices might be sanitary. I ordered the sesame Tofu with a side of white rice. It took a while because it was genuinely made to order. She took my order, charged me, answered a few phone orders and started away at my meal. It gets a star for the fact that the food was not ready-made-stale. It was made for me, in front of me as I ordered it. Because of this, it took a long time(20 – 30 minutes though she said 10 minutes). The inside of the restaurant looked old and dirty, in fact after a quick browse I started to doubt my decision to try it anyway. I contemplated the thought of driving away and losing the $ 10 I had spent on the meal, but decided i would give it a fair chance. Another warning sign was when i saw the same lady taking the money, was the same lady cooking the food, without using gloves, she put her fingers in the noodles and the rice(right in front of me), grabbed the steamed veggies with her bare hands and placed them in the take-out cartons. This grossed me out a bit, but hey i took my food and left. Lady apologized for the delay and smiled as i walked out. My sesame tofu was GROSS! It was very starchy and tasted like it had been coated in gelatin, yes… i did say gelatin. It had the texture of jello! it was deep fried breaded tofu covered in jello! The fried rice was literally just white rice fried in oil. There were no vegetables or flavor, no meat. As it reads… FRIEDRICE! Tasted like oily brown rice. The meal came with a fried egg-roll. I didnt even taste it cause it looked so greasy. I just threw it out. I wouldnt recommend anyone to eat here.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Everything was bland and gelatinous. Eww. That said, the delivery guy was really cute.
