I cannot say enough good things about Advantage Hearing & Audiology! After dealing with Single-Sided Deafness for 17 years, I finally decided to explore the option of hearing aids — specifically the Bi-Cros technology where one device sends a signal from the«bad side» of my head to a hearing aid on the«good side.» I contacted AHA and within a week I had an appointment and my first set of hearing aids. My employer pays for up to $ 5,000 a year for hearing aids(very unusual, but true), but many of the other hearing aid clinics refused to listen to me when I told them that my insurance would cover the costs. Rebecca Libera listened to me and worked with both the benefits representative at my workplace and her insurance claims specialist to get everything verified! I highly recommend them if you’re looking for hearing aids!

I came down here to receive an audiogram and a consultation to get new hearing aids. Since I am from dry AZ, my old hearing aids have had a difficult time adjusting to the more humid climes of NC and as a consequence, they have been breaking down quite often leading me without my ears(rimshot). However, a friend of mine recommended this place, and I’ve got to say, its pretty good. First, I have to give kudos to the staff at this location including Raquel, Ronnie, and Marissa. They are all great people and I felt welcomed and a part of the family from the beginning. They understood the hearing aid technology that they were recommending, and they also were able to answer all my questions and concerns. My only problem is that their fitting fee is much larger than normal. It costs $ 500 when the fitting fee’s I have had in the past cost around 300. I haven’t gotten my hearing aids yet, but if the fitting fee is worth it, you will know.
