Business Owner

Dr. Michel was born and raised in Scobey, Mont. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Montana State University and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Mo. She is licensed to practice in the states of Missouri and North Carolina. Dr. Michel was conferred the title of Diplomate by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a distinguished Fellow (F.I.A.C.A.) with the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture. In 1981, Dr. Michel opened her first office in Carrollton, Mo. In 1987, she left private practice to become the full-​time chiropractor, nutritionist and trainer for professional tennis player Martina Navratilova. During this period, she also worked for other prominent athletes and entertainers. In September 1989, she relocated to Greensboro N.C., and opened her second private practice, Advanced Health Chiropractic. Her professional affiliations include the ACA and NCCA. She attends Green Street Baptist Church.
