Natural, pasture raised, grain finished Angus beef. Call to place orders for a ¼, ½ or whole beef that is processed to your specification by a local locker. We sell freezer beef by the package at our farm. Call for a current list of steaks, roasts, hamburger bulk or patties available.

History

Established in 2000.

Owners Jason and Amy Effing started raising beef to sell as ¼, ½ and whole beef orders in 2000. We later started marketing our name as Well Done Beef (WEDOBECO).

We raise Angus steers and heifers on our farm located in Eastern Hancock County. Our beef is pasture raised and grain finished on our 5 generation farm. Our goal is to provide a high quality beef product that is lean, flavorful and healthy. Our cattle are on pasture the entire time, no confinement facilities here on our farm. Our families consume our product as well, so we do not use any hormones or antibiotics in our beef. Most large producers continuously feed antibiotics as a preventative measure. We do not use antibiotics unless the animal’s life is in danger. The Angus breed is known as a premium beef that is well marbled with arguably the best flavor. Many fine restaurants serve Angus steaks exclusively.
