In every town we visit, for kids’ sports, vacation, etc., I look for cool places to eat, to avoid the same old fast food. In Greenfield, that cool place is Uncle Monkey’s Picnic. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Everything is made fresh & served picnic style — sandwich, side, and bottled drink. My kids loved the burger and hot dog. The chicken salad is outstanding — homemade & fresh! My friends really enjoyed the pulled pork.
The only thing I can think of to make it better is offering fountain drinks, brewed iced tea, and coffee.
Next time we’re in Greenfield, we’ll be back!
