History

Established in 1928.

Tuttle Orchards began when Roy Tuttle planted 10 acres of apples with his daughter in 1928. These apples went to the Chicago markets and local schools and stores. Over the years, the orchard transitioned to become a retail operation and diversified into many other areas including pumpkins, vegetables, greenhouses, and more. The farm is currently operated by the third and fourth generation of the same family.
