We are a worker-​owned Licensed Electrical Contractor based in Greenfield, MA, and serving clients throughout Western Massachusetts and Southern Vermont, and specializing in the design and installation of solar renewable energy systems for home and businesses in our region.

History

Established in 2002.

PV Squared was founded in Greenfield by a group of people interested in promoting renewable energy in the Pioneer Valley while providing long-​term living wage careers in the local economy and the opportunity to become owners of our worker-​owned cooperative.

With over a decade of service service under our belts, we’ve become one of the longest-​standing and one most respected solar energy specialists in the region. We are proud of our track record of successful projects and proud to count local architects, building professionals, and wiring and building inspectors among our satisfied clients, as well as a wide range of local home and business owners.

Business Owner

PV Squared is a structured as a Worker-​Owned Cooperative, and we are part of a growing movement to create an economic and social alternative to «business as usual.» Everyone on our team has the opportunity to participate in our democratic decision making process, and to become an owner of the business. This means that we’re able to offer our clients the level of service that comes from having an owner of the business directly involved in every phase of your project, and that we’re motivated to make your experience with PV Squared the best it can possibly be. We’re also a certified B-​Corp, which means we’re part of a larger community that’s using business as a force for positive change!
