Air Roasted Coffee: The Pierce Brothers’ Air Roasting process is unique, with only 5% of the world’s roasters using this method. This allows our coffee to be less bitter and acidic while providing a smoother, richer taste. That is why they are known as «The Clean Bean”® coffee roasters. You can taste the difference in every cup you enjoy. We roast our coffee daily in small batches to ensure the highest quality and freshness. You deserve the best, so why not enjoy the finest purity and flavor?
Our convection hot air roasting machine floats each bean on a fluid bed of hot air. This improves the coffee’s flavor by vacuuming away the chaff as the beans expand thus eliminating any burned particles before they can settle to the bottom. Most coffee is roasted in a steel drum, with the beans directly in contact with the burning metal, and sometimes it even catches on fire when the chaff settles! In our roaster the beans are tossed continually in the hot air, roasting evenly on all sides and guaranteeing a consistent roast every time.

History
Established in 1994.
In 1994, the Brothers First Started Providing Coffee to the
University of Massachusetts community by serving and
selling their roasted coffee. This became the start of their
quest to provide only the best coffee available. Now, nearly
two decades later they are doing just that. By selling only
100% Organic, Fair Trade, Kosher Certified, Air Roasted
Coffee, they are offering the highest quality product to
their customers. The Air Roasting process is unique with only
5% of the worlds roasters using this method. This allows
our coffee to be less bitter and acidic while providing a
smoother, richer taste. From small beginnings, we are now
distributing coffee to Supermarkets, Cafés, Restaurants, Food
Coops, Gourmet shops, Colleges, Hospitals, Ski Resorts,
High Profile Inns, and County Clubs. We are also on the
precipice of launching our own brand of K-Cups and our
patented «Coffee in a Keg» cold brew. All of this to better suit
your needs as a coffee enthusiast!
