This place looks pretty divey & there is a sign on the door that you must be 18 to enter because it’s a smoking establishment, which is heavy in the air when you walk in. We almost went to another spot because my family is all non-​smokers, but on a Saturday afternoon the food was great and the service as well. We will definitely come back.

We travel a lot and like to sample local flavor, staying away from chains. Rainbow Steak & Ale is a nugget that everyone should try when they are in the Greeneville area. Real food, great service with a smile and owners who take a genuine interest in their customers.
It’s a great place to watch sports while having a cold one and a meal.
We’ll definitely return for more!
