Tech is rude and unwelcoming. Store is over crowded and service is slooooooooooow. Doctor super knowledgeable and helpful though.

Eye exam was very fast. However, ordering contacts was not. Exam took about 15 minutes. Waited to speak to a sales representative for over an hour. Service is SLOWWWWWW!

I needed to get a new pair of glasses. I’m so glad that I went to this America’s Best! It was busy when I arrived but I feel I was tended to in a timely manner. There was an adequate number of staff present to serve everyone there. The total time I spent waiting and for the appointment was probably 25 mins. The pre-exam was quick. The tech did her job — I feel that she could be more welcoming. The doctor was very nice. He conducted the exam throughly and explained everything in detail. You could tell he was very knowledgeable in what he was doing. He knew exactly how to adjust my script, and though he only adjusted it a little, my vision is so much clearer with my new glasses! It took me a while to find frames that I liked for the price I wanted. I think the tech that helped me was Sarah(?). She was very helpful and kind. My glasses were supposed to arrive in 7 – 10 days. I went in on Friday night and they were ready by Wednesday! Overall, great experience!

I have benn coming to this location for 9 years now. I love it. I see a different tech every time i come in. They have all been very nice and explain everything so you understand. The Dr is also great. Explains everything as well. Gives me choices if i want to make changes. I cant think of ever going somewhere else.

I had an exam and purchased glasses and contacts here some time ago. I decided I wanted to try a different route for new glasses so I called and asked for my prescription. I was told that I could not be given my prescription over the phone but I could either stop in or have it faxed to me. I asked to have it faxed so they sent me the release form. I had to call them and ask for the fax number since they did not supply it but then I returned the release form and waited for my prescription. I waited a week and got nothing. I called and asked for my prescription to be sent to me again, they said they would send it that day. Waited a week, still nothing. I called a third time and the person I spoke to this time was pretty rude. She said that since it was not a personal fax machine(it was going to my office) they could not send me my prescription. I asked why the other 2 people I spoke with had not told me this and her response was«I cannot be held accountable for someone else’s actions.» So I said forget it and stopped in to get my prescription. A week later, I mysteriously received a copy of my prescription in the mail. I will not be returning.

Went today, with a bit of apprehension: I haven’t been to the eye doctor in over 5 years(I HATE the eye doctor the way most people hate the dentist!). The girl at the front desk wasn’t very pleasant — I’d say they need an extra person working up there — between answering the phones and trying to «greet» people she seemed frazzled and less than enthused to be there. She wasn’t kind, warm, welcoming, courteous, the list could go on & on. The guy(Justin?) who did my initial exam, was very nice, I told him I was terrified and he made everything as painless as possible for me! The doctor(Dr. Swantz) was also very nice, he took the time to ask me questions and explain things to me very well. He walked me to the front and told me to feel free to browse around until someone called me to check out. This process took a while, and finally someone helped me. I decided since my prescription barely changed and I only need glasses for part time I wanted to do the least expensive thing possible!(who wants to spend hundreds of dollars on glasses that they don’t even wear every day?!) So I asked if I could get new lenses in my old frames — she said yes, but then later I discovered it was over $ 100 cheaper to get 2 pairs of new glasses and my eye exam would then be free. Why wouldn’t they tell me that in the first place? It could have saved a lot of time! So, the total is supposed to be 69.95 — plus tax & stuff. she rings it up. it’s like $ 140. How is this possible? She messed something up in the computer & had to start all over. So, the checkout process was obnoxious, and way longer than it should have been. Overall, my experience was decent — the technician and the doctor were great. The check-in and check-out processes both could have been improved, by a lot. And one last note — I don’t know what used to be in this store area that they took over — but there’s a very distinct«old» aroma in there. Would I go back? Probably — but I’d hope they would hire a few more people to make things smoother.

I have been at this location twice and have had really good experiences. I would have given them 5 stars but I really don’t like that they do not have a «cashier» type person to cash you out so you can leave. You have to wait for one of the staff who is working with people to be done and then you can pay and leave. This makes a 15 minute appt into a 45 minute visit, not cool. Eye exams are quick and efficient. Dr takes time to discuss questions. Staff is friendly — at least the ones who do the tests. I also like the fact that they do not really try to sell you things you do not need. I went in for an exam and didn’t require anything further. You can make appts online and go right in. I made an appt online and went in within 15 minutes, pretty cool.

I had a good experience here. Last year I had an eye exam for contacts. It went really well. The doctor is talkative but he listened when I talked to him on both my initial visit and followup visits plus when I just had another exam. I joined the vision club and this year got another eye exam(free) and a couple of pairs of glasses. Ok, well the club isn’t free. I believe it’s $ 90 for 3 years and you get a free eye exam yearly as well as discounts on glasses and contacts. I really don’t have much bad to say about it.

The office staff is extremely overworked and clearly all hate their jobs. The tech who does the actual prep exam is pleasant. But sometimes you wait on hold for upwards of 20 minutes when you call, or upwards of 30 minutes in person. The doctor is horrible. He talks 100% of the time. You cannot get one word in. I had an eye infection and I tried to tell him about it but he talked over me about something entirely different. This man should not be allowed to be a doctor. He doesn’t listen, at all. I felt more comfort in talking to a brick wall.
