Dr. Poulos is an extremely experienced plastic surgeon who works with extreme confidence. Immediately after meeting him and receiving Botox his confident and adept touch is exactly what you want from a plastic surgeon. He never hesitates as he is always 100% sure of his decisions. I am going for a more invasive surgery very shortly and I am completely confident in his skill and the care that his staff will provide.

I chose what years ago I would deem unthinkable. Surgery, to heal the sagging skin and wrinkles that years of stress created… For years prior I looked in the mirror and did not recognize the person that feels like the vivacious youthful me! Even friends and family acted as mirrors, acknowledging that even though I am extremely active, fun loving, vibrant and youthful, my skin was aged beyond what would be expected. MD Polous, offered a number of alternatives to surgery, but truthfully stated the results of surgery would most closely match my expectations. I have spent most of my life following a natural path with alternative medicines etc… and this choice was a big deal !
As recommended I received the minimal eyebrow and lifestyle lift.

Dr. Poulos removed a small carcinoma from my nose. It was in a very visible place and I was worried that I would have a scar, but it healed perfectly and isn’t noticeable at all! I felt so comfortable and well-​cared for in his office. Dr. Poulos took plenty of time with me and explained my options clearly. His staff was also very attentive (even holding my hand during the procedure), and I couldn’t be more pleased with my results!

Upon my first visit, I was reticent about any kind of «enhancement». Dr. Poulos immediately engendered my trust. He is honest, artistic – a minimalist in the same way I am in my own art form. He is smart & kind. He allowed me to take what felt like a risk at my own pace and did not have any agenda beyond my own goals. He is, indeed, a forward thinking MD.

Dr. Poulous is skilled and trustworthy. He deserves his fine reputation. I chose him for my mastopexy + implants because he had done an excellent procedure on a friend of mine. After having children, there was no amount of exercise that could have fixed what Dr. Poulos transformed for me. I don’t know why I waited so long.
He showed me the computerized rendering of what the goal was, and the outcome is just exactly as great. He combines an artistic eye with surgical excellence to achieve the desired result.
Plastic surgery usually doesn’t make promises or guarantees of your dream results, but in this case, Dr. Poulos greatly exceeded my hopes and expectations.

This amazing man has taken the best care of me, my referrals/​clients to him as well as my family for the last 15 years. Stan is an artist, a doctor, a forward thinking MD with the most human touch. I just had a two procedures done by Dr. Poulos in June and I am Over The Moon Happy with the results. I have never written a review on Unilocal but I really wanted to share what a great experience I had. From the minute I walked in the door there were smiling faces and it made me feel right at home (I was a little scared to have plastic surgery done).
The procedures went exceptionally well and I Smitten with the results. Dr. Poulos was so professional, honest and knowledgeable from the get go… I knew I was in good hands.

I met Dr. Poulos in December of 2011 when he injected my lips. The procedure went exceptionally well. My lips were perfectly plumped, he did what I asked, listened to my concerns and the results are still completely visible. He’s excellent and has great bedside manner. Thank you, Dr. Poulos!

With having experienced multiple facial reconstruction procedures as a result of a car accident, I have come to know the best plastic surgeons on both coasts. Doctor Poulos stands out as one of the best for the following reasons:
— His extensive training and knowledge does not come with the usual arrogance of a surgeon. He listens sympathetically to your concerns and is reassuring.
— With his talents as a master sculptor, he takes your requests and gives back more than you would have ever thought possible.
— His follow-​through afterwards, with continuous appointments, monitors your progress and gives you confidence that your healing is on the right path.
— As for the price, it is quite reasonable when you consider that for about the same amount of money you could have a new Chanel bag. But, do you want a new bag on your shoulder when you’re wearing an old bag on your face?

I had surgery done back in 2004. I interviewed a number of doctors in the Bay Area and even though he was the furthest away and involved crossing the Golden Gate bridge to get to him, and he was really nice and I felt confident in his abilities. He was very willing to answer any questions and was very reassuring. He did liposelection on just about everything from my waist to my knees, basically. The surgery went well, and really I have nothing but good things to say about him as a doctor.
Now it’s 7 years later, my body still isn’t what it could be, and I am a bit lop-​sided in the abdominal area. My thighs are still the same shape they were before surgery, except now with some sagging skin. Maybe I expected too much, maybe I need to go back a few more times (erk), whatever. My one huge complaint, and the only reason I can’t give a higher score, is that I have repeatedly tried to get copies of my before and after photos, and repeatedly heard excuses like, «they’re in the storage down in the basement» or «they’re now off-​site in another building». I’ve even been told that they’d get back to me, and they never do. I gave up trying in 2009, as I’d been trying for 5 years, since the time we took «after» photos! Every year, near the anniversary of meeting him (which was halloween, 2004), I call, and every year I heard another lame excuse. Even when you tell them that maybe you’d like to consider another procedure they blow you off. They don’t even offer to send them to you in a few days or whatever. How am I going to decide how or if to proceed next if I can’t get the photos? They’re really doing the doctor a disservice and hurting potential returns because they’re just being lazy.
So I’m shopping around for another doctor. Not because Dr. Poulos was bad, but because his staff sucks. Maybe I’ll find someone that can actually get my before and after photos back to me!

i had a surgery done by dr. poulos about 3 years ago and he did a fantastic job! right after surgery i was able to move around without any pain and i had very little recovery time. his staff are very friendly and made me feel super comfortable and eased all of my surgery day jitters. they even sent flowers to my house, which says a lot about how much they care about their patients.

I cannot imagine anyone not liking Dr. Poulos’s work. I have had several
procedures done by Dr. Poulos and had fantastic results. My mother had a face lift and breast augmentation. She looks beautiful and she is very happy with her results. My aunt also went to Dr. Poulos for a forehead lift and had her eyes done. She looks gorgeous! Dr. Poulos has done my eyes, and several other procedures. At 53 yrs old, I look and feel great ! I was so nervous that he held my hand right before I went under anesthesia. His entire staff are professionals who take tremendous amount of pride in their work. After surgery, I did all the things I was told to do. when I felt something wasn’t healing right, I would call and get an answer right away. I was just being impatient because, just as Dr. Poulos said, it will take a little but of time. He was right on the money! After all the swelling went down, I was so happy! Every penny spent was worth it! And I do not have a lot of money either.
I am disappointed and must wonder about the validity of those women who have said such horrid and inappropriate things about Dr. Poulos. Maybe you enjoy strange rants that hurt people… Dr. Poulos is one of the most upfront, honest and caring physicians I know. Surgery is not an exact science ladies, everyone knows that. There are risks inherent in surgery, cosmetic or otherwise. If you had any intelligence you would realize that and take responsibility. I read and signed the consent form as an adult understanding all the risks involve in my surgery. The staff and Dr. Poulos explained all the risks in great detail. Grow up ladies, you sound like a bunch of LA Housewives… if you have problem take it to Dr. Poulos and speak with him like an adult. Do not air your dirty laundry on this site.

Oh and FYI, I LOVED my mommy make over! I look fabulous! Dr. Poulos is an extremely skilled board certified physician, with many fellowships to his name. I would gladly, and I do, recommend Dr. Poulos to anyone wanting any cosmetic procedures done. He is just the best!

Anyway, I had a breast reduction and a lift about 3 years back and I can’t tell you how much the procedure changed my life. At the time I was 28 years old and had ginormous breasts that made me look years older than I actually was (and not to mention, heavier). I was TERRIFIED about the procedure, but I was at a point when I decided that it was time for me to change for the better. Dr. Poulos was as nice as can be and I was surprised at how conservative he was during my consultation. You always see these shows where surgeons are telling you to go bigger, I actually wanted to have a bigger breast size than I do now, and it is thanks to Dr. Poulos’ conservative advice that I am the size I am today. Thank goodness I listened!!! Dr. Poulos always kept it professional and went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the process and results. He held my hand through the entire procedure, and always told me what was coming next and what to expect. In fact, my mother went to him for a face lift shortly before my procedure. He really did a wonderful job on her and today she looks amazing! You would never know that she’s had work done! Dr. Poulos, is the best in the business! Without him, I would not have the amazing results that I have today! Thanks a ton!
