Lindisima- Act 2

Lindisima Act 2… Nice items and friendly staff. But, the discount i was verbally offered did not show up on my receipt. Contacted them twice, but got nothing back. Really too bad because they have a lot to offer. disappointing…

This by far my favorite boutique in Marin County. Linda the owner is fabulous! She shows me only what she knows will look good on me. Her other sales people are also very nice and friendly.
I shop quite often because I attend many special events. I always try this store first. It is a gem in so many ways…

It’s a great store and I always find something to love.

This is a nice, boutique store in the Bön Air Shopping Center that carries a lot of nice clothing, handbags, jewelry, shoes and other accessories. I would say it caters more toward the middle age crowd (40+), but there are some pieces for the 20 – 30 YO crowd as well and of course, the accessories could be for anyone.
I have picked out a few things here to try on-​dresses and tops mostly. And purchased a casual sunny yellow top which I love & wear often in the warmer weather! They carry a nice assortment of Papillion Blanc tops & dresses, Theory and other brands both common and unusual. The handbags are very pretty and of good quality leather or micro fiber, as is the jewelry which is quite unique and beautiful for costume jewelry. The owner definitely has an eye for picking out nice, trendy and unique pieces.
However, you ask, why only 2.5 stars (Rounding up) if this place is so great? Some of the employees are very snobby and just won’t leave you alone, especially when you’re in the dressing room (–1 star). They just think they can peek in on you and want you to constantly come out and show them what you’re trying on… and of course everything looks GREAT-​even if you’re unsure of it! If your SO is accompanying you, the staff are still just right there and give their opinion before your SO can even speak up or be alone with you for a moment to discuss what you want/​like. Which is plain rude, IMHO. For the prices they charge for their merchandise, they should definitely treat customers with respect and value their patronizing of the store!
They will also bring over shoes & accessories to pair with your outfit, which is their job and maybe helpful to some, but in general was overwhelming to me in addition to knowing the employee was always right outside the dressing room.
And God forbid you walk out of there without buying anything, what an uncomfortable feeling. It feels as though they’re shooting daggars at your back as you’re leaving & then talking about you (–1.5 stars). How do you know I’m not going to come back and spend big money or refer a friend who would do the same?!? That’s what smart business people think and act like even if you don’t purchase something.
Overall, like the clothing, accessories & handbags, may return if I needed a special occaision dress or for a treat, but I do not not care for the customer service and how over bearing and snobby some (not all) but most of the staff can be. 2.5 stars overall.

Wow, snobbery at it’s worst! Not to mention getting walked in on — no BARGED in on — in the dressing room by an employee of the opposite sex. He was very apologetic, but not two minutes later another sales associate is practically peeking through the crack in the curtain to ask about a garment. Um, a little privacy please after the near attack would be appreciated!
Bottom line: The clothes are nice, but these people really need to work on their customer service. Very pricey, too…

Great place to find great looking, unique clothes from casual to elegant, in a relaxed atmosphere. You wouldn’t expect a shop in the Bön Air Shopping Center near food and grocery stores to be of such high quality. But it is! I always find what I need for a last minute event or to refresh my wardrobe for a new season.
