Jason Sherman DDS Katelyn Du DDS

When our family dentist of over 35 years retired, we received a note that Dr. Sherman was taking over the practice and that we should continue on with our dental care at the same office. Our insurance is Delta Dental, and have never had to pay for dental care over a certain amount. My 24 year old daughter made an appointment, had a check up and was told she needed two cavities filled. At no time did the dentist or the office manager mention that they were not Delta Dental providers although all her records have been with this office for the past 20 years and since she had been coming to the office for 20 years she didn’t think to ask. Imagine her surprise when we received a large bill. I called the office manager and was told «that yes this has been a big problem with several of the Dr. Pancoska’s patients, but that it was our responsibility to ask about coverage and to pay the bill»
Our family members have been to three different dentists/​oral surgeons in the past year and in each case we were immediately asked about our insurance, were told up front how much it would cost and how much the insurance would cover, before any procedures had taken place. I have no issues with the dental care, but I feel that the front office could be more considerate of long time patients that they are transitioning into their practice. Not everyone has an extra few hundred dollars to pay for care that could have been covered had they elected to go elsewhere.

I love coming in to the dentist. Actually only these two amazing dentists. I feel like I am in such incredible hands with Drs. Jason and Katelyn. Everyone is always in such a good mood, and when I leave, I leave with an amazing feeling. My last cleaning from Cori was the best cleaning I have ever received — she got into every part of my teeth. I am so happy!

I had looked around for a long while for a really good dentist after my old one (Dr. Mcdonald) closed up his shop years ago. I finally found Dr. Shermans dentistry office. Him and his staff are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. The equipment and their techniques are state of the art (I love the instant x-​rays viewable on the monitors.)

Honestly probably the best dentistry practice in the bay area. I have been to my share of dentists and never have experienced the same level of professional service as with Dr Sherman and Dr Du. They made accommodations for my very tight schedule which I could not be more thankful for. My whole family has all of our dentistry done here and we could not be happier. 5 stars

When my longtime dentist, Donald Guttman, retired recently, I feared the worst but was told that I’d be in good hands with Jason Sherman, the dentist taking over his practice. As it turned out Dr. Guttman’s promise was even better than his own impeccable dentistry skills. While I sadly have plenty of reason to visit Dr. Sherman, I know I’m getting the very best care available. As the review above me stated, not only is he a highly skilled, patient and thorough dentist, but the state-​of-​the-​art technology he and Dr. Du have brought to the practice has made what was already the best dentist office in Marin even better.
And I’m glad to report that the rest of Dr. Guttman’s staff is intact — with some of the very best hygienists around, as well as the always affable and accommodating Mary at the front desk.
I’d be lying if I said I can’t wait to visit again, but when the time comes, I’ll look forward to going.

This office has a winning combination of skill, talent, and state of the art equipment. The dentists and staff are friendly and fun and I actually enjoy going to my dentist!
