This location is garbage. Guys are jerks and the sandwiches are awful. Ordered a ham and cheese every thing on it, tomatoes look old, lettuce brown and almost no meat. All bread. Grabbed a Pepsi and it tasted funny, turns out it expired 2 months ago. Absolutely no emphasis on quality and these kind of places never get my business. Go at your own risk, ANY Subway will put this place to shame.

Dear whoever runs Just Subs over the past 2 or so years, I have ceased coming here a few months ago, and I will not be coming back. I have gone to Just Subs ever since I moved away from Tastee Subs, for 14 years now. I would frequent your store all of the time. Multiple times per month. I loved the local deli feel, the fast service, the selection of drinks. Over the past 2 years, I noticed that suddenly the subs — whether it be a Super Sub or a Tuna — were stingy. Barely any tuna, meat or cheeses, which makes you feel like it isn’t worth the travel or cost. The proportion of bread to filling is so off that is does not taste good any longer. A Jersey Mike’s just opened 2 minutes down the road from where I live. They pack on the meats, cheeses or tuna, and are priced similarly. I am a sub snob: I have only ever gotten subs at Tastee or Just Subs my entire life. It pained me to try a chain restaurant. But guess what? Their subs are always fresh, served with friendly customer service and it’s convenient in both location and price. I have converted. I am really sad to post this, but like I have stated… I am not going back to Just Subs. I hope you learn from the reviews on here, see outside of your own business opinions and can continue running. Good luck!

Place is very dirty like where you throw your trash and trays, floors, doors, etc. And the bathroom is gross. Makes you wonder if they clean the kitchen or refridgerator. Subs are okay but nothing special. Inexpensive but not that much meat either.

If there’s not 5 stars for this place there shouldn’t be any places with it. I’ve been coming here for 10+ years — I’m a local. This is a great deli, you’ll walk in spending $ 7.00 and get a full, awesome lunch. Plus they’re open all day. The guys that work here have really dedicated their time to become masters at this craft. Get anything, but my favorite is either the Super Italian or Pastrami and Swiss Toasted(got the BLT today for the first time — excellent) April 6, 2016

Best subs in the area. Subs aren’t skimpy like the chain sub shops. Soups are really good too. Fast and friendly service.

The service and staff have been slowly going downhill. Employees are not friendly and the prices do not match the quantity of meat/cheese you receive. To top it off they ran out of white sub rolls. Need to step it up.

Unimpressed. Stopped in last night for a whole tuna sub to go. Let me just say I am a tuna sub aficionado. The Jimster usually eats a tuna sub every couple weeks from various establishments. You want to know who makes the best tuna sub for the money? Quick Chek. But I digress. Back to this place. The first thing I didn’t like was the price: $ 10.80(compare with QC’s $ 7.69). The good thing about this place is you’re in and out in like 30 seconds compared with QC where you have to enter everything into that dumb terminal screen so at least I’m saving a little time for the extra $ 3(to be fair, QC’s subs are also a bit smaller). The second thing I didn’t like was I told him«tuna sub, everything on it». In my book that means lettuce, tomato, onion, salt, pepper, oregano and O/V. He was about to wrap the sub when I noticed he did not put any salt/pepper/oregano on it. I had to remind him. The third issue is what the Jimster refers to as the«tuna to bread ratio». I felt that for the size and thickness of the bread there was simply not enough tuna. So when you take a bite you getting way more bread than tuna. This dovetail with what other Unilocalers are saying: they’re cheap on the meat ! Finally, In addition to being chintzy on the tuna they were also chintzy on the tomatoes. Four tomatoes across a whole sub? You decide. I would not recommend this place. If you like tuna subs I recommend you save some money, get a better tasting sub with more tuna(or at least a better tuna: bread ratio) and go to Quick Chek. If you’re going to call yourself«Just Subs» you better damn well make a good sub. I’m sorry to say that’s not the case in my experience.

Went to get a sub at 9:40pm tonight. They were closed and the door was locked even though the hours state that they are open until 10pm. I would normally give them 4 stars when I am getting a sub from a worker that cares, but this is completely unprofessional.

Below SUB-Standard…From incompetent kids with attitude attending the customers, to warm lettuce, tomato, and onions on your sandwich. To which are circled by fruit flies or gnats throughout the day… Yuck!!! Call it like I see it. Oh I forgot to mention the little meat and cheese you get as well… Mr. Mike needs to focus more on quality, and CUSTOMERSERVICE… Hello Tastee subs in all its locations, and Sub works in Colonia, and all its locations beat this guy all the way through… Just an FYI. If you’re ever in Jersey City NJ. Blimpie’s on central avenue Beats them all… I don’t work for any sub shop throughout the usa, or the world for that matter… Just giving consumers a heads up on poor quality versus excellence… I’m a Chef

Soft bread, young, hard-working staff, and busy. People like this place. I don’t prefer dietz-Watson cold cuts.

Mr. F is going to agree with other recent reviewers, this place is stingy on the meats & cheeses. Ordered some sandwiches the other day. Based off fellow Unilocalers, Mr. F decided to pay up for extra meat and cheese on one of the sandwiches. Got home and did not notice a difference in the extra meat & cheese vs. the regular one. Felt totally ripped off. On top of that, the bread was not that fresh nor was it of good quality. Will not return.

Very stingy on the meat compared to the other locations. I actually drive an extra 20 minutes to get more meat in hillsboro

This location is disappointing, especially when compared to the one in Hillsborough. It is dark and on the dirty side, and sorry to say it, but they aren’t nice. I also think their sandwhiches are getting thinner which is a big mistake. If I wanted bread and lettuce I would go to Subway or Blimpie.

Not a fan of my bread being cut in half for sandwich making but good sandwich makes up for that.

I’ve been here multiple times, maybe more than 20 – 30 times over the last year. Food is always fresh and the Tuna Salad, in its simplicity, is to die for. I agree with one of the reviewers that the attired of the staff is very curt and ‘indifferent ‘. Absolutely no service with a smile. It seems like they’re not happy working there. But… The food is good and the soups are good as well. I’ve had minestrone and French vegetable as they were both very good.

By far the best subs that I’ve had in New Jersey. Everything is fresh and made to order. The subs taste the same in each of their locations which is hard to do. Service is fast and efficient.

Normally this place is closer to 4 stars, but today(on a Sat afternoon!) the bread was stale and it looks like they’re not putting as much meat on the subs as they used to. And something was really off about the pickles, idk…

Very disappointed with the attitude and service at this place. When asking the size of halves and wholes because they vary depending on the place, the boy said, «are you serious?». I couldn’t see the end of the bread to know whether it was the butt and the end or if that’s where it was sliced in half, hence my question. Someone should really offer a workshop on how to speak to and answer customers’ questions. I walked right out.

I’ve been sending my father to this place to pick up 3ft party subs for years. Since he’s gone now RIP I had to get it myself yesterday. The first thing I noticed yesterday was the smell. It smells so freaking good in there! Fresh bread, fresh ingredients just yum! About the food: We only get the giant subs but man are they delish. I like that there are no frills — lettuce, tomato cheese and meat and the other toppings — onions, olives, oil, sweet peppers and hot pepper paste — come on the side so you can diy. Nothing worse than a sandwich overpowered by onions. We had 3 ft of roast beef/turkey/veggie. I don’t eat meat and was skeptical that a just veggie sub would be good but because of the way you can build your own sandwich it turned out to be perfect. I served the sub at 6pm for 5 people. We also had ziti and 2 dishes from the chinese place. By 8pm the sub was gone. I think that says it all.

I really don’t know how to explain my love for this place. It is not fancy, but so freaking good and I think they put crack in their onions. I frequent Just Subs about 3x a month. I always get the same thing: half whole wheat, honey roasted turkey, white american cheese with everything except oil & mayo. That plus the reduced fat Cape Cod potato chips is a party in my mouth!!! The service here is excellent and the guys are so sweet. Just a note: I think Tastee’s is SUPER overrated and I’m not a fan.
