Specialties

We are a family-​owned self-​serve frozen yogurt bar serving 16 rotating flavors of yogurt, sorbet, gelato and Italian Ice, plus dozens of toppings. We’re on a mission to help local schools deal with challenging budgets by regularly donating part of a day’s sales to a local school; you get some, we give some.

History

Established in 2012.

Three owners decided that by opening Smart Cow, they would do some good in the community. As parents themselves, concerned about funding for their own kids’ schools, they decided that Smart Cow would be the shop that helps schools, often. It’s a partnership between business and community that is truly working.

Stopped in for a treat when we were in town for Memorial Day weekend. It’s good stuff and my daughter enjoyed the chalk board table while she ate her treat. Cute place! If we find ourselves back in the area, we’d definitely stop in again.

The family and I are obsessed. The frozen yogurt flavors are delicious, and the topping options are seemingly endless. Part of the proceeds from each cup go to local schools, plus they give a discount to teachers and veterans.

Stopped by with my family and we tried about every flavor. From cookies n cream, strawberries and cream, red velvet, italian tart, and more. The flavors were rich and creamy. Some froyo shops will have a water base which reduces the flavor, not the case at this place. I’d highly recommended for all ages!

Discovered a new favorite! The possible combinations that can be made here are endless! My favorite is the cheesecake flavors, although they seem to not always have the different cheesecake flavors. Want toppings? Done. There are so many different things to plop on your yogurt, you’ll always think of something new. One thing to watch out for is their popular days. You’ll be waiting in line for awhile.

It’s okay. Not as good as Red Mango (Chicago) or Sweet Earth (Detroit). Felt more like making and eating an ice-​cream sundee, than eating a healthy snack of fat-​free frozen yogurt and fruit.

Cool place. Awesome flavors and lots of toppings such as cereal, graham crackers, syrups, nuts, candy, fruit, and those bubble things that you find in bubble tea, and more! You pay by the ounce. Good place for families too. There are a few tables that seat more than two or three and there’s high chairs available. Also, I think the round chairs at the chalkboard table are fine for kids too. I saw other kids sitting in them just fine.

Smart cow is one of the greatest things ever! All the flavors were so tasty it was almost impossible to decide on what to get! There is nothing bad that can be said about this place. The food is fabulous! And the place itself is decorated adorably!

I was excited to try it out because of all of the flavors. I wanted a pint of froyo, so I brought my own jar because I hate wasting the cups. I can just wash my jar and refill, like with my morning coffee. The problem was, the manager does not understand basic math. She wasn’t able to weigh my jar before and after to determine the price. She refused to work with me. Also, my pint was almost $ 7 and then I found out you could get a quart for $ 7. It seemed a little silly, and I was irritated that they made me feel stupid for being environmentally friendly when really they just can’t handle an elementary subtraction problem. The froyo was good, but I don’t see myself going back. They also don’t have paper bags, plastic only.

Smart Cow may be the best thing to happen to Green Bay since Aaron Rodgers! I lived in Chicago for five years and was spoiled by having a froyo place on almost every corner. I was so excited when I saw Green Bay finally got one too! Smart Cow does not disappoint. It’s a serve-​yourself place where you can get as much or as little as you want and they offer a huge variety of flavors and toppings. They also have little sample cups so you can try before you buy. Prices are reasonable ($.41/​ounce) and they have an electronic loyalty card so once you buy 30 ounces you get a free 8 ounce yogurt. The cherry on top of this yogurt sundae is a percentage of their sales go to local schools! How great is that? Go to Smart Cow immediately and I will probably see you there :)

Wow… probably the best FroYo spot I’ve been to. :)
LOVED the flavors… the décor was very cute and stylish, and even though it was crazy busy in there it had a good «flow» to it.
41c per oz… which seemed like it might be on the pricey side, but when my dish tallied up it was still sub $ 4.00. So that wasn’t too bad after all.
The reason behind the 5 stars is all behind the flavors. They tasted so good — seriously, the best FroYo I think I’ve ever had. And I loved how each little «station» had a cute name for the «twisted» version.
For example, white chocolate mousse + espresso = White Chocolate Mocha.
Blueberry tart + Cheesecake = Blueberry cheesecake
I mixed a bunch together with a bunch of toppings. I think I liked the best the Salted Caramel Pretzel + Red Velvet cake = Let’s Play Twister.
Or maybe I liked the Blueberry cheesecake… i dunno they were all yummy! Especially with the granola, cinnamon crunchies, graham cracker crust, and blueberries on top!
I’ll be back!

Love this place! Lots of flavors of frozen yogurt and tons of toppings. You can fix your dish EXACTLY to your liking. The place also has a fun atmosphere and friendly staff who keep the place impeccably clean. Definitely worth a stop after dinner or for an afternoon treat!

Wonderful addition for Green Bay. I love frozen yogurt, but over the years the stores have come and gone, until now. Smart cow has rotating flavors and a huge self serve topping bar. I got birthday cake and cookies & cream, and my husband got triple chocolate and cheesecake. The great thing is that you can take as much or as little as you want since you weigh your cup at the end then pay. Smart Cow also donates a portion of their sales to local schools.
