Hyatt Regency Green Bay

This hotel looks and sounds nice because it is Hyatt. The rooms are nice, really no issues but it’s the small things that make rope a dope a no no in my book. First of all, the last straw for me was, their pens don’t work. They clearly are not paying attention to details.
Aside from charging $ 3 a bottle for water, the restaurant in the hotel is a total disaster. Everyone is very nice and very freindly so I don’t think the staff is the issue, but the processes are broken. All of the issues I’ve experienced are very easy to fix and prevent except the terrifying and slow glass elevators which seem like they could take a crap at any moment and leave you stranded in the air.
The décor is nice and modern but the building is clearly very old. The main issue is multiple nights i went to the restaurant and they completely screwed up a very simple order multiple times, bringing out either the wrong foods or the wrong combination of foods at the wrong time and much of the food was questionably under a week old. Despite the good menu, the execution is entirely wrong and very very disappointing especially when you just arrive after a day of traveling. Not a good cup of tea.
Now let’s talk breakfast. It’s pretty hard to do this wrong, all I ask for is fresh eggs and maybe some veggies for my omelette. The eggs are some fake liquid something or other and was very disappointing, and not much else of a selection of anything but carbs sugar and pork, not good for a health conscious traveler. quite disappointing.
But if you’re like most sports fans just looking for a quick fix of beer and whatever crap gets shoved in front of your face, maybe this review for you would be a 4 star, cause that’s as high as some people’s standards may get. I simply expected alot of simple things to be better simply because of the Hyatt brand and unfortunately was proven wrong.
Not to mention, the parking is a total flustercluck. cluck cluck how dumb is this? You need a ticket then to have it stamped everytime you come and go and the main entrance is on a side street. Pretty un-​intuitive. Back to the drawing board on this disaster Hyatt.

I haven’t even stayed at this hotel, but I am so excited because so far the customer service has been outstanding.

Big value on this one, dudes and dudettes.
The rooms here are huge. The TV in the room is the hugest TV I’ve ever seen in a hotel room. The bed is huge. (King or California King, for sure.) The sitting room is huge.
The toilet, however, is kind of small and low to the ground. Buyer beware.
Anyways, this hotel is solid. It’s a good value. The room was great. The staff was great. You have to pay for parking, that kind of sucks. The parking is extremely inexpensive, however. The a.m. buffet is okay — I stuck w/​granola and fruit and they only charged me half-​price. (Score!)
The elevators are slow. Buyer beware.
The gym in this hotel is phenomenal. Seriously. Great gym. They also have a pool, hot tub and sauna.
I’d def stay here again while in Green Bay; the spot is centrally located to just about everything. Four big stars for the Hyatt Regency Green Bay!

There is some extreme racism at this hotel. My husband and I are white. Clearly that was a problem at this hotel. The staff seem to be made up of mostly natives, African americans, itlalians, etc., which is fine, but they clearly didn’t like us. None of the staff seemed to be friendly and they were all angry. And this is the «management» team as well that I’m talking about. They looked at us like we were Donald Trump. I was so sick of it by the end of our stay.

Our family stayed here in one of their suites on the 5^th floor. The gentleman (Willy) at the front desk was very professional and courteous upon checkin. It was the day before the Packers/​Vikings matchup, so they had complimentary decorated sugar cookies in the lobby. The atrium was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The suite was spacious with 2 queen beds and a pull out bed in the front room. It also had a bar/​kitchen area with sink, micro, and refrigerator. My only complaint is that the water temp was tepid at best with the handle turned totally toward hot. Also, the floor outside the bathroom was wet upon checkin. I didn’t see a leak, so I’m not sure why? I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m visiting Green Bay again.

This is the second time that I have stayed here and both times I have loved it. The staff is so great here. They go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. The rooms are very, very nice… The beds are so comfortable!!! It is very quiet and yes it’s 10 dollars for breakfast but it’s worth it. For those who think 10 dollars is too much, go stay at holiday Inn! On game day there are shuttles to the stadium! Trust me this is a great hotel, and I am a hotel snob!

Wow is one of the first words that come to mind after spending a weekend here. A little confusion during check-​in and on the phone in reservation wasn’t going to stop me from giving this place a 5 star review. The way Debbie R. handled everything makes me wish I could give more than 5 stars. Breakfast buffet is pretty standard, pancakes, oatmeal, cold cereal, but had cage free eggs. For some reason it seemed to taste better than any other buffet I’ve been to. Huge room, with a nice king size bed that felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Glad that I got to spend the weekend here!

Spacious and clean suites. Easy in and out parking made this a great hotel for business. Enjoyed the breakfast downstairs for $ 10. Nice gym for being at a hotel. Highly encourage staying here!

Rooms are nice. This place nickels and dimes you to death $ 5 to park in the hotel parking lot, $ 3 for water bottles that are in the room, $ 10 for the continental breakfast. Give me a break!!!

Stayed at this hotel to attend a 3 day conference. Very modern looking hotel with an attractive lobby, atrium, and plentiful conference space. My room was spacious and the bed was perfectly comfortable. I was concerned about noise traveling into my room, considering the layout of the rooms facing the atrium but thankfully all was quiet and I was able to get a good night’s sleep each night. All of the meals during my stay were part of the banquet, except for the morning breakfast buffet. Most of the food was standard hotel quality, sandwiches were generally good but other items like the scrambled eggs and chicken cordon bleu were dry and bland. Would love to see the breakfast upgraded to include omelettes and a waffle station on my next visit. Service however, was very good; attentive and friendly staff. An overall good experience and would return again.

While visiting Green Bay I stayed at Hyatt. The service was outstanding! The front desk workers were very friendly, always greet you when you walk in or when u are leaving. Housekeeping was okay. The worker that just started working here he had just moved here from the Bahamas I don’t recall his name, he gave me a great room with a great view. Also he gave me a three day complementary breakfast which was fresh and amazing. I had a overall great experience at this hotel. If visiting Green Bay you should definitely look into staying at this hotel.

Nice and clean but really dated décor. Huge rooms that were very clean and also very comfortable. It was conveniently located to the convention center. Breakfast was a total mess from the perspective of service. Waitstaff would take orders but seemed to have no idea what table the order was to be delivered to. Front desk was great. Bar was comfortable. I would stay here again.

Every time we visit Green Bay this is our go to hotel. Very nice and the staff are very accommodating.

Much nicer of a hotel than I was expecting. The service was outstanding. The rooms were crazy large for the price we paid. Will most assuredly stay here again the next time I’m in Green Bay.
Overall it was a super fantastic stay. I love this town.

Nice hotel. The suites are very nice. The meeting spaces are adequate. The workout room is great. The bar is ok, food and service was a little lacking. It’s in a good spot as there are plenty of dining options in the area. The one absolute negative is that the elevators are the slowest I’ve ever been on.

Just a tiny little update, parking is no longer free here, it is now $ 5/​day.

Got married here. My wife and I were very impressed with ALL the staff. Front desk was EXTREMELY helpful, the banquet staff was very accommodating, and Angela in sales was GREAT! Amazing customer service!

Stayed here with two buddies for two nights as we were in Green Bay to go to the Jets v Packers game.
If you call ahead, they provide a free shuttle van from Austin Straubel International Airport to the hotel. Nice.
Room 617 was big enough for three burly men. Two queen sized beds with a fold out sofa bed in the front room, so there was no need to spoon with one of my buds.
The room had a bar area with a fridge, sink and microwave. Good for drinking in between all the drinking we would be doing anyway.
Free wifi.
Bathroom was an adequate size.
The fitness center had over ten machines (treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bike, etc).
The business center had two computers and a printer (that didn’t work).
A $ 10 all you can eat buffet breakfast is offered in the mornings from 6:00am to 10:00am.
Within walking distance of Titletown Brewing Company and the strip of bars located on North Washington and North Adams Streets. A six block walk at the maximum.
They also have an onsite bar and convenience store.
And a huge plus was that just down the block is a stop for the free bus the City of Green Bay provides on game days that takes you directly to Lambeau Field before and back after the game.
Aces. Will stay here again the next time the Jets are in Green Bay (eight years from now?).

Overall it is nice and I got a great price so it was nice relative to the cost, but the service was disappointing. Housekeeping skipped servicing my room one day and when I contacted the front desk to ask why my room wasn’t serviced I was told that if my privacy sign was up and housekeeping saw it they would skip my room… even if I removed it before leaving for the day. I explained I had left around 12:30pm and ensured my privacy sign was removed. The person at the front desk explained it was my responsibility to contact housekeeping if I wanted my room made up since I had my privacy sign up. It is worth mentioning a cleaning cart was in the hall when I left which is how I remembered to remove my privacy sign. I realized there was no arguing since there was no interest by the staff in addressing the issue.
For this level of hotel I would expect a more professional response. There were other minor issues like the business center printer not working, a large wrinkle in the carpeting in my room that was a bit of trip hazard, and missing light bulbs. It seemed the hotel had a nice façade of elegance but if you scratched the surface it was not as good as one would expect. Again, I got a great price online so for the price it was fine, but I don’t think I would spend any real money staying here in the future.

While in Green Bay I stayed at the hyatt. It’s a very attractive property and the atrium style interior is very cool. The rooms are clean and and are clearly trying to appear up scale with the granite counter surfaces and the dark rich wood furniture. I’m not going to critique the room like some, it’s not my dream house just a nice place to stay. The 7^th floor room had a view of nothing cool from my room but a 7 story view is cool to me. The staff was great. This is one of those destination hotels I like to stay away from that offer way too much amenities that attract lots of family’s. Lots of un accompanied kids running around and joy riding the cool glass elevators but I booked it anyway because it was close to all my plans. The pool is the star of the property and I can see it’s attraction. Parking is $ 5.00 a day with 10 entry’s only, what happens after 10 ?. There is a restaurant, laundry, pool, exercise room, market, high speed business area in the front. Rooms have balcony doors but no real balcony area. My room had a living room area with couch, flat screen tv, desk area, breakfast bar, wet bar, fridge and microwave. The separate bed room contained a small bathroom, closet, two queen beds, flat screen, balcony, iron board, iron, alarm clock and half mirror. It’s like a mini apartment, see the pictures. All in all for the price point this a fantastic property that is very comfortable and visually attractive. I can’t rip on anything here because it’s not bad at all. I had problems today to rip on but the hyatt was not one. I would defiantly always stay here in Green Bay Wi at this price point because it’s a beautiful place to stay. I like it.

a good place to stay if you are heading to door county. its a haul to places like fish creek but the Hyatt welcomes you back to a comfy bed a great shower and waking up to a nice breakfast buffet for $ 10.
parking is free down the street in attached skybridge parking garage, otherwise $ 5 a night.
the Hyatt is ideal for July 4^th fireworks as its very close to the river where they have a festival prior. the parking lot was completely full when we returned late on July 4^th.

Room has a creepy horror movie vibe. Clean but unsettling feeling. The $ 10 breakfast needs some help. You could get better pancakes at a fast food joint.

This is a very attractive hotel once you get inside, but the outside is nothing to marvel at.
There is some minor damage to the ceiling in our room, but not a big deal.
The biggest disappointment is the convenience store downstairs. They had a tiny selection of breakfast items and the attendant wasn’t very friendly.

The rooms here are FANTASTIC! Way beyond what you get in other areas for a «standard room» — their standard rooms are pretty much full on suites — with a separate living room area, TV’s in the bedroom & «living space», bar area, mini fridge, microwave, big couch, & desk. The bathroom was a nice size, with updated finishings. Aesthetically a very nice room!
The negative:
I don’t like to accuse anyone of anything, BUT … my very expensive eye cream was pretty new, and barely used. I left it out on the bathroom counter with a lot of my other toiletries and when I went to use it the next morning, it was easily ½ gone. There is no one, other than housekeeping, who could have taken some of my eye cream. I am extremely disappointed that someone would be so low, and think it sucks that I got screwed in the process.
SO — if you stay here — keep a close eye on your valuables!
