Artrageous Ink

My daughter has had 5 tattoos done here by Steve, he really has a great vision for what she has wanted. Several of her designs were her own and Steve was able to see what she wanted and translate it to a tattoo quickly and easily. In turn they turned out fabulously and we are very impressed and very happy.

My virgin tattoo experience. Green Bay, Wisconsin. Downtown, in the big city. I really heart Green Bay too, (not as much as Beantown of course.but.it’s unfair to compare. and that rhymed. ok…) how can I not since I’m a raving cheesehead only a short half hour drive north of there. Anyways, back on track, I suppose I AM reviewing a tattoo shop here!!!
Loved this shop. It was very clean, these artists all had great work, great attitudes and were plenty kind to their customers. unlike certain places, which will go unnamed. But anyhow, I went in as normal with a sketch of my own to get tattooed on me. They worked very well with me on the size and the exact location. I originally wanted this 2×3 inch swallow/​nautical star/​lightning bolt on my inner wrist, but the artist quickly convinced me not with good reason as to his concern that most tattoos there will need a lot of retouching since the skin takes differently to ink there. Shit, maybe he was pullin’ my leg but I went for my forearm and really dug it. This by the way was my idea too, but he gave instant approval.
I made clear how I wanted my color done, and my artist, David Tiki went well along with my requests. He gave a suggestion, which I went along with as well; as to add an extra color to make it really pop and I’m glad he did this! A sign of a truly bombtastic tattoo artist!
David Tiki was top notch with his work, and I was really hoping I’d wind up getting inked by him! I lucked out and I was so satisfied with my experience! I brought my big bro Shawn because I couldn’t imagine going alone at that time to get inked, and it was cool since Shawn sat back and drew me getting my first tattoo. I’m glad that was captured on paper, and of course Shawn Ray did an excellent job in portraying it all!
So PLEASE, local Wisconsinites, don’t disrespect yourself and go to a cheap, ugly smalltown shop with no great artists for your tattoos.
