The service, staff, and wait time was way better than the last time I went. I was in and out in about and hour. Partly due to the fact I was getting an eye exam; those take awhile. I didn’t even really have to sit in the waiting room long!:)

So I had to renew my license this week and new protocol says you need an eye exam. Well it’s been two years since my last pair of glasses anyways so I decided to try the for pairs for $ 69 offer with free eye exam… Being a usual customer of Lenscrafters, I’m used to overpaying at the eye doctor. Lol. I arrived 20 minutes before my exam and stood there for a good 30 seconds before anyone even acknowledged me since no one was actually at the front desk. Eh that’s fine I guess. After paperwork I was escorted to the pre-exam room where the tech did all the tests. I felt so rushed, it was unbelievable. Then they pressure you into a $ 15 extra exam. I believe they called it a field test for early signs of eye damage. Two puffs of air and that was that. The actual exam was good. Doctor was friendly and informative. Then it was time to pick out my frames. I picked out my frames in about five minutes and awkwardly stoof there for another ten minutes before someone asked if I was ready. I never felt so uncomfortable. Sat down to the usual«do you want to upgrade your lenses» sales pitch which I respectfully declined. Then she put on the pressure. «Well you get added protection, durability, blah blah blah» again I declined and I didn’t see anyone finish a transaction any more quickly. «That’ll be $ 89. Thank you have a nice day» First and last time I will come here. I’ll stick to Lenscrafters. *Update 5/27/16* Well it was time to pick up my glasses. Walked in and it was rather busy. I was asked how I could be helped. O said I was picking up glasses and was sat down and yet again, rushed through my fitting. Idk what it is about this store but the customer service is horrendous. Glasses were nice and you can’t beat the price but if you want repeat customers, you would think they would at least be somewhat polite.

Terrible customer service. Bought 4 pairs of glasses last year and spent a significant amount of money. The girl asked my husband if this was his first pair of distance glasses to which he replied yes. She said«i would hate to be on the road with you» and rolled her eyes. My husband was upset. He just found out he needed glasses all the time. She was insensitive. I brushed it off as a bad attempt at humor. We were told that they had specialists in adjusting glasses and we would see one when we picked them up. When we picked up the glasses, they simply handed them to us. I said they needed to be adjusted and I got«they look fine» with no adjustment. When I said they weren’t looking right the lady said is this your first pair of progressive bifocal. When I said yes, she replied«we hate single lens wearers. They are always complaining they can’t see as well.» I was stunned. Today, I returned to have a repair done and have them adjusted. It took 10 min to fix the nose piece because three workers were just standing there talking about all their personal stuff. When they gave them back to me, I asked again that they adjust them. The guy said they looked fine without really even looking at them. I said that they didn’t seem right and he said, you probably need a new prescription. What I need is a new eye place. I went to Sam’s Club previously and they were awesome. Should have stayed there. I don’t know if the other America’s Best locations are like this, but this one is absolutely terrible and won’t another dime of my money or another minute of my time after finishing this review. I actually signed up on Unilocal solely to share my disappointment with them.

absolutely atrocious customer service. The receptionist was rude. None of the staff knew anything about the packages or pricing and the pricing was different depending on who you spoke with. I will not be returning to this place.

Reasonable prices and a knowledgeable doctor on staff who educates you while doing his exam. America’s Best was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend them as well to anyone in need of contacts or glasses.
